OMG this has to be the nastiest food ever… I can’t even believe they call it barbecue. I got the Yankee combo and practically puked when getting home to eat my food. First off, you get a half a rack of pork ribs, but never say if the baby backs or the regular St. Louis style ribs, but it was baby backs cooked horribly on some grill that’s possibly used with gas, not charcoal. The ribs were worse that I’ve ever tasted, I dropped a couple pieces down for my dog to eat, and he smelled and tasted it then spit it out. The chicken wings with the bowl was not cooked fully and red and pink in the middle and nothing had flavor to it besides the sweet tasting barbecue sauce that they possibly got out of a bottle to pour over it I can’t really believe this place is even open for business indefinitely. Learn my lesson today with spending over $30 for some nasty food. The health department should be called, But lesson learned, I will not be going back. My stomach is bothering me something terrible. This was my first time and it will definitely be my last, I hope you people read reviews carefully and don’t waste your money here you’ll only be disappointed…. And if you see the five star reviews or even four star reviews, it must be their family members who’s giving them thumbs up for this horrible tasting food that’s not even cooked properly, again what a waste of money and don’t waste your money… I wish I can give it a bunch of negative stars because that’s what...
Read moreThis food was just horrible. Dry tasteless meat smothered with unusual sauce and super expensive like crazy. So, a half a rack of ribs and 4 small pieces of pigeo..... sorry... "chicken" was close to $30 dollars! With two of the smallest sides posible! Certainly not enough to share with three people. All of the meat was dry as a bone and we actually had to throw away the chicken. The consistency was more like compressed paper than chicken. It was absolutely terrible. I don't get how this place is even still in business. I hope the owners realize that people can take a 5 minute drive over to Costco, and get a FULL rack of juicy and tasty ribs for about $20 bucks, which is what I'll do next time I want ribs... This place is a "one and done" for me. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me...
I don't understand the people who review Bayonne restaurants on Google. So many are reviewed with high 4 stars or 5 stars, and when I try them, I would rate them all less than two or...

I ordered from Bayonne BBQ for the very first time last night. I had been craving “non-spicy” bbq wings for days and decided to try this place. I came out in the frigid 21F weather, ordered a small order of classic honey-bbq wings and the corn bread I saw wrapped sitting on the counter (I love corn bread & haven’t had it in many months!) I waited 15-20 min in the establishment for my order and couldn’t wait to get it home. (I hadn’t eaten anything all day!) Needless to say I was extremely disappointed! The wings were very hard and very dry. You know the kind that have been frozen for long periods of time and then cooked? The sauce albeit tasty could not penetrate the meat and could not add any moisture to it. The corn bread was hard, crumbly and stale. The order was not cheap! And I ended up eating a roll for dinner that I had at home....
