I stopped by to get involved with the community. I went in to become a volunteer. I went in and said I’m here to volunteer. The response I get, I get it with some sort of attitude, “ volunteer for what? You are not giving me enough information “. I kept my composure and in my head I’m like “you work here, shouldn’t you have the information on the volunteer work?.” I feel like it was more of a burden of me asking to volunteer, like they are paying me, like I’m making their job of looking for information harder. Than they kept me in a waiting area like I’m applying for a job. Half hour. No one was there making the place busy. If it’s busy, I can understand. I’ve volunteered plenty times before, Habitat for Humanity, New York City parks reservations and renovation. I wanted to drop my resume along with certifications ( that’s it). If I’m not getting paid and giving my time, skills and experiences, I believe a little more professionalism is not much to ask for. I don’t want to deal with your attitude, especially for FREE. Half hour is a long time to wait, I have to work. I stopped by to be helpful in any way. I’ve dedicated time out of my day to get there...

I had gone to the BEOF with a paper filled out from my Dr to get help with my AC bill. I remember a bunch of lovely ladies who were so kind! I dealt mostly with Dianne. She looked over my paperwork to see if I had what was required. She was pretty impressed by how meticulous this girl with the shakey hands was. She was more than kind. She treated me with respect and extreme kindness. I cannot say enough about these wonderful women who work there. Thank You all for your kindness to an absolute stranger. 10 STARS! I appreciate any kind of help. I have read a few reviews. Because the people who work here are so busy, you can't always walk around with a smile on their faces. It is crowded and it is cramped. Very unprofessional the girl in front Andrea was on her personal phone while taking down client information whoever she was talking to wrote down the clients social security number because they repeated it back and all Andrea did was laugh and say shhh your on speaker I think that’s a crime shame on you Andrea I hope they tell her something @veroandrews it is not professional to be in your personal phone while handling clients important information such as social it is not professional to be on your personal cell phone while you are at work period so how bout you get your facts together because it might have been your social her boyfriend was writing down so please have several seats somewhere sticking up for your friend on google review...
