Chicken Express — Restaurant in Baytown

Chicken Express says it all. A fast food chicken house that has all the trimmings that you'd expect at a fried chicken place. They also have catfish platters. Very good catfish, not that farm raised practically bland and no taste catfish. They have a variety of menu items, combos, sides, and if you're in a hurry and just want something small, they have a snack pack. Their hush puppies and rolls are to die for!!! Those side items are very good too. The mash potatoes are like your mom made at home. No artificial instant taste here. You may want to get two sides of them. Ok. Ok. Man on with the story! I have never got a plate of food that was cold. The entrees are always hot !! They call you by name and are always friendly! Oh, and if you want chicken , you can order what chicken pieces you want. Oh, and if they make a boo boo.... they will apologize to the max and then some. I've been there many times and only once did they goof . They apologized practically the entire time that I was there and it was really a trivial matter. My advice, if you want a good dining experience, great catfish (from a fast food place, which really is unheard of), chicken, entrees, sides and fixings and all kind of possibilities. GO CHICKEN EXPRESS! OH, why didn't I give them 5 stars... to make you read this far....

After conducting thorough research and analyzing positive reviews, I decided to visit Chicken Express. I opted for the spicy chicken strips, accompanied by macaroni and cheese as the side dish. The meal also included cream gravy and a choice between six biscuits or rolls for the family meal. I chose a combination of both.

Before providing my assessment, I would like to express my appreciation for the exceptional customer service provided by Emily and Skylar. Their professionalism and courteous demeanor were commendable.

Regarding the chicken strips, while they possessed a satisfactory flavor, they exhibited a noticeable staleness and lukewarm temperature. It appeared as though they had been subjected to prolonged exposure under a heating lamp. The rolls were characterized by their buttery texture and freshness, while the biscuits lacked any discernible flavor. The macaroni and cheese exhibited a creamy consistency, and I found the meal to be generally enjoyable. However, I must note that the pricing seemed somewhat excessive.

We have eaten here at this location of Chicken Express. And we had been very satisfied. But saddy today 3/9/2016.We especially made the trip to go purchase our food there at Chicken Express to be so disappointed and our food was horrible nasty. We just couldn't believe it. So i called Chicken Express to let them know of my very bad experience. I even informed them that this was very shocking to me because we have eaten here so many other times.And i wanted them to make it right and give me good chicken and fries .I paid cash for it or reimbursement of my money .The so called Manger told me that he could give me coupons or for me to go back to day to get the chicken. I responded with are you paying me for gas or what I'm not going back again today possibly Friday. Then said i was then getting nothing.So i asked for someone above him.He i will give you the owners phone number. I couldn't believe my ears. Such a poor customer service regarding the food they are selling to trusting people that thought they were purchasing good and fresh food.
