I would like to take this time to express my dissatisfaction and terrifying experience I recently had at Waffle House on 04/27/2025. Me and my friends decided to go to Waffle House as our normal routine to have breakfast. Our waitress took our order and proceeded to pour our coffee. We stated that the coffee looks a little weak. I took a sip after taking a sip of the coffee we then advised the waitress of the coffee not being strong enough. The waitress offered to make use dark roast. We politely accepted. She brings it back and continues to fill our cups up. We did request a to go cup for our coffee due to the coffee staying warm longer. Everything seemed to be going good until the waitress comes back and demands that she will be adding an additional charge to our tab due to this being our third cup of coffee. We advised her that this is only our first refill due to the fact that our cup wasnât filled up completely the first time. Plus the first cup was weak. The waitress said well youâre wrong you guys drunk a whole pot of coffee and you will be paying for this!!! I was confused and embarrassed of how she treated us! We asked to speak to the manager who came over smacking her hands saying you will PAY FOR THE COFFEE AND YOU GUYS ARE NOT ALLOWED BACK!!! AND BY THE WAY I AM THE ASSISTANT MANAGER!!! She stomped her feet as she walked off! Never even took the time to ask or address our concerns. I was truly terrified of how aggressive and angry she was. I feared for my life. No one should ever have to be treated the way she treated us. Instead of her addressing our issues and concerns in a polite manner she totally disregarded our feelings. She had no interest in finding out what the issue was. We have been to this Waffle House for a few years and never had an issue. This was no way to treat loyal customers who lives nearby. This is suppose to be a place of business where your assistant manager represents your company. That was clearly not displayed. Iâm deeply upset due to the disrespect and embarrassment. This was a deformation of my character. Since she banned us from coming back to Waffle House for a cup of coffee which we paid for in error!!! I would like to know what will be done so that no one would ever have to experience this terrifying encounter we had with your worker and assistant manager.
We are very unhappy and dissatisfied with service that we received at your restaurant. We expected a much better experience. We request you to take act against the staff who were responsible for this poor service...
Read moreWaffle House is my favorite restaurant and it's a bummer we don't have any in California. My second favorite job ever was 3rd shift cook at a Waffle House in SE Texas. This particular location was the traditional layout, high counter, low counter and booths along left of high counter and along exterior of street side windows. Grill and cook in full view of everyone, setup plates the original method, never viewed a single ticket, all audible. Waitstaff were quick to greet, take drink orders, (food order too since we knew what we wanted) and bring drinks along with preserve items(steak knives, sauces). Called orders out from traditional call points, one even helped setup plates on the line when there was a brief rush of orders called. Cook flipped all egg orders by hand as per policy, no utensils touched any egg pan and orders came out quickly. Order was up within 8 minutes even with heavy meats (steaks med rare) and everything was EXACTLY as desired, perfect on steak cooking, eggs over medium, toast grilled wheat, hash browns ringed but covered. Coffee was hot and fresh and got freshened/topped up 4 times during my meal. Waitress pre-bussed and checked to make sure all was satisfactory too. All this during probably the busiest time (near end of 1st shift while receiving weekly truck shipment and restocking, waitstaff handling side work as well)kudos to all the staff. Y'all did it the...
Read moreStaff was amazing food was awesome and the people were great. We were trying to finish our meals and one of the staff started saying stop ⚠and shaking her finger to a person on a jacked up truck then she asked who owns that older model truck in the parking lot this customer who just left hit it and is pulling back in. It was our truck and my babygirl (11 month old puppy) was in the truck asleep, I jumped up and hollered my baby the waitress looked at me as if it was my human and I said no she's my furbaby. She said well ain't that the same? And she sad it's OK she is fine it wasn't a hard hit. But she helped me out the door and made sure she was fine with me. They wrapped up our leftovers for us the cook, 2 waitresses, and a couple other customers there all told us if we didn't get our truck fixed then to call them they know exactly who the gentleman is and he is a regular. EVERYONE WAS HELPFUL AND KIND INCLUDING THE GUY WHO HIT OUR TRUCK. He literally didn't see our truck under the brightest light in the parking lot with the huge A-frame wench built into the middle of the trailer frame in the middle top. But ok. Accidents happen when you've been up late dancing and drinking and filling up on the amazing food lol thank you to the staff all of you guys it wad amazing all...
