Let me start by saying that we LOVE Whataburger and always ensure to visit one when we are in a town that has one (which unfortunately isn't often enough). This particular location however was a huge disappointment and even though we were in the area visiting for a week, we chose to most definitely avoid it at all costs. The employee was rude that assisted us, and honestly for me that is enough to stay away. We were super excited when we got in town and stopped here as the 1st stop. I was in a super good mood, so I most definitely didn't have an attitude. I simply asked if my receipt would be in the bag when I get my order because we were in the far lane. The lady told me it would be. Ok, so great shouldn't be a problem right? Wrong! So the lady brought out our food and I inspected to ensure everything was there and also looked for my receipt. Food and drink were, however no receipt. So I waited and waited to come over after I was trying to get her attention. She then clearly was aggravated that I asked for it once she did come over. After she went back inside for several minutes, she and what I believe was the manager, came outside with some orders and a crumbled receipt in which I believe was retrieved from the TRASH! He made a comment to her to gesturing her to give me my receipt, in which she did, with a clear irritated demeanor. I was appalled and overall disappointed with the poor treatment and left. Read moreI ordered online and pulled up to the front door. I read the sign that said pull up to front door for online orders between 11am- 8pm. I was within that time frame. I waitedfor 4-5 minutes and no one came to the front door. I saw cars in drive through come and leave with there orders.. I asked a customer going inside to let the staff know at the counter, someone was waiting at curbside pick-up. Still no one came. I asked the employee who was sweeping the parking lot if I needed to call or does someone just come to the door. She replied ma'am, I am about to go in. I will let them know. A few more minutes went by and still no one came. The employee who was sweeping the parking lot began setting up the cones and signs for online curbside pick up. Still no one came. This same employee went and changed gloves and then came back and asked what was my name for the order. Next another employee brought the drinks, but they were with ice and I specifically ordered no ice. He did take them back and returned with drinks that had no ice. Finally, the one employee who started out sweeping the parking lot was the one who brought me my food. She was pleasant the entire time and even said, God bless you. I responded thank you and the same to you. That one employee should not have been the first form of contact. I know this location can do better because they have in the past. Read moreThe order taker charged me too much on almost everything I ordered in my $38 order. First, I ordered a whataburger by itself with a large fries but she charged me for a #1 combo with no drink which means I paid $0.21 cents more for nothing. Secondly, I ordered THREE burger kidsmeals, NO cheese for $4.99 each but they charged me $5.49 for each meal which is $0.49 too much, times 3. So the total overcharges equal $1.68+tax=$1.82. Instead of giving me a refund for $1.82 he stubbornly argued with me that $5.49 is the price with tax and refused to fix anything. So I said I will just take a refund for the entire order and return the food. He said ok. As you can expect, I will NEVER be back as long as that stubborn guy is woking there which won't be long when he treats people like this. Also, the employee put the drinks in a bag which didn't sit flat when I set it down and it spilled and he embarrassingly accused me of doing it on purpose for revenge in front of a long line of customers. If I had done it on purpose I sure wouldn't have been standing in it unaware until a fellow customer told me it was getting on my shoes.
We took our refund to Raising Canes where we recieved exemplary service and spent $4 less.
