Dairy Queen's menu creators have gone and done it! I am a chef in Baytown, Texas and I have to leave this review on your New Bacon Ranch burger. First, the young birthday girl at the drive thru window was remarkable. I had to give her a gift for her cash collection on her shirt. That 16yr.old repeated my orders (with all my specifics) exactly as given. The manager/s allowed her (because she was considerate enough to ask them) to sell us 1 of the New burgers with a substitute and upcharge for a grilled chicken portion. We also had to get the New burger with the regular beef patty, bacon and ranch. It really tasted as if the cheese was a Monterey/Pepper jack mix cheese but I'm sure it was just the grade of the tasty item. We adults thoroughly enjoyed these offered treats that the cashier suggested. It was the best fast-food meal that I have ever eaten! Kudos, ๐ Congrats, and Keep'em coming Dairy Queen. I now have a sure thing that I can enjoy eating when I don't get my own cooking ๐ done. This was a wonderful sandwich/burger, thank you! Janice Washington @ Navis Pack &...
ย ย ย Read moreI am writing this review because the Dairy Queen at the intersection of West Baker, and Decker don't communicate effectively, and I was even lied to by a worker. I simply asked for a military discount, that I know for a fact that branch has, and the girl at the window told me, no. Okay. I'm sure she didn't know, and I didn't blame her for not knowing. I do blame management. They should let every new hire know they accommodate military discount. I hate when I go there and sometimes I receive one, and sometimes I don't. The part I blame the girl for is her lying to my face when I asked her if the manager was there. She said, no. I happen to know that every shift has an onsite manager. I called the corporate office, and they even verified that information. I tried calling the branch I went to, to speak to a manager, but of course, they are ghetto, and their mailbox is full. ๐ They have lost my business forever with their high prices. Hence my desire to utilize my...
ย ย ย Read moreI come up to the drive-through. Order a medium Blizzard with 1/2 Oreo and 1/2 M&M. Ordered this 100 times. I get to the window and the kid charged me extra Oreo not once, but twice at $1 each. I say, no, I don't want extra anything. I just want half of the stuff put in it to be Oreo and the other half to be M&M. SO THEY THROW IT AWAY. They just waste their mistake. Then the manager hands me $2 in cash. Then he starts asking me all kinds of questions about how I want them to distribute 3 scoops or whatever. First of all, this isn't hard. Second, while 16 cents of tax on the $2 isn't much difference, it's my 16 cents. He didn't even consider my 16 cents he was trying to steal from me without even a thought. I just handed him the $2 and asked for a full refund. I won't be back, though I really do hope they get their act together. People go there for a treat. It shouldn't be a...
