Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Baytown

This is the only 5 star worthy jack in the box I have ever eaten at!!! The looks are deceiving on the outside. The area seems a bit run down and sketchy but this location makes your food genuinely fresh and with effort! I had just been released from the hospital after 5 days of barely being able to stomach anything and got a craving for some Jr Bacon Cheeseburgers. This location was on my route home and it looked sketchy on the outside but something told me to give it a shot. So I ordered my food and a drink and let me tell you those were the best Jr Bacon Cheeseburgers I have ever had. It was still hot, it was fresh, you could tell they really tried to make it good because I got like the perfect portions of all the sauces and it seemed like they gave me extra bacon as well. Extremely hit or miss. Ive been to through the drive thru about 10 times in the past 6 weeks and i have only left with food about 7 times. It seems like 30% of the time the system is down, or they dont have the item you want to order. Another annoying thing is that when you get your food they never offer ketchup or anything that id almost everyone puts on burgers and fries. So if you are getting food on your lunch break and for some reason you forget to ask for it, you will get back, open your bag of food and realized you have made a grave error. I also want to note that the atmosphere just looks very depressing. Everyone just looks super unhappy, i havent seen one smile and not one employee has ever said "hello" or "hi" to me not even once. But on a positive note, if they do happen to have what you want and you dont forget to ask for condiments the food tastes SO good. While I had the patience to wait in the long, slow drive-thru line (around lunchtime,) I was quite disappointed with the service. I ordered a single sausage croissant sandwich. At the window, I handed over my debit card. I did not receive a receipt. I was given a bag, and I pulled away. Before leaving the shopping center, I checked the order. It was not what I assumed I had paid for (no receipt, so maybe she misunderstood or pressed the wrong button on the register.) Instead of a fresh, hot sausage croissant sandwich, it was some type of ham sandwich. It was lukewarm, and in a used container (had old, dried cheese on the inside.) Instead of getting back into the drive-thru line, I parked and walked into the restaurant. After a few minutes, I was asked what was wrong. I explained that I had been given the wrong order.
