I had never heard of this place before, but when a friend and I were looking for a someplace to stop for breakfast, we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. It was great! The lady who took our order at the counter and who brought our food to the table was really sweet. They have an extensive breakfast menu with every style of chilaquiles imaginable. I had the chilaquiles verde con bistek y huevos. It came with refried beans, fried potatoes, and homemade flour tortillas. It was better than what I've had in many places throughout Mexico. I randomly found this place when I made a wrong turn and was rerouted through old Baytown. This place is a hidden gem! Authentic Mexican food accompanied with great and friendly service. I do a lot of work in Mexico City and Querétaro, and the food here is MUCH better! The chilaquiles and huevos rancheros are phenomenal!
