Barry's Do Me A Flavor — Restaurant in Beach Haven

Went in for typical eats and found a place with incredibly friendly service!

Meal order was nothing out of the ordinary: burgers, cheese steaks, fish tacos, grilled cheese. Food was typical: not extraordinary, not terrible. But the service was top-rated. There is no wait service when you seat yourself as orders are made from the counter then delivered. Food took about 20 minutes to come out, but was perfect temperature to eat.

Staff was very accommodating when trying to seat our party of 6. Turnover is fast and our wait was less than 5 minutes (even though we called and they warned 25 minutes or so). They adjusted tables to fit us all together and made sure we were comfortable. When placing the order, the staff was friendly behind the counter, inquired to make sure our order was correct and answered any questions we had. Ice cream attendants were equally as gifted and worked quickly to fill orders... Ice cream was delicious and sundae options were spot on!

Barry’s is our favorite! The food is pretty good but not the usual reason we come. The ice cream is outstanding! We often try other ice cream places but always end up coming back to Barry’s. Campfire S’mores is definitely one of the best flavors and my daughter gets it every time. Our family favorite is Jersey Shore and my wife loves the pretzel cones they have. We like that their ice cream usually has a good amount of flavor chunks too. Because it’s popular there is often a very long line, but it moves very quickly because of how great the employees are at working to take care of everyone in a fast and efficient manner. Our kids always get the same ice cream flavors so we’re waiting for the time they can just say “I‘ll have my regular!” Get a custom Pamwich when...

If you want great sandwiches, french fries, finger food, and ice cream sundaes, Barry's Do Me A Flavor is your destination. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and efficient, and I found the fish and chips and fish tacos to be exceptional. The Peanut Butter Sundae is a throwback to Friendly's when it was good. The only downside is the place can get busy on a weekend and there is limited air conditioning, so you may work up a sweat if you think you're going to sit in a cool environment. You must order at the front as they don't take table orders, so be prepared for some sweaty pits. Other than that, it'll still be less of a wait than most other family restaurants on the island...
