Casertano's Cucina — Restaurant in Beachwood

Seven months ago my husband was diagnosed with cancer. Between the cancer, chemo, the pandemic and working full time it's not easy to have the mental capacity to think about what to cook, nor do I have the strength to cook once I get home from work. Thankfully Casertano's has been open for delicious take out meals. My husband didn't have much of an appetite and lost so much weight but if I brought him something to eat from Casertanos.....he ate every time. It's a family owned business and they make you feel like part of the family. The delicious heat and eat meals are amazing. Some of the best penne vodka with grilled chicken, flounder over rizzuto, grilled chicken over vegetables and orzo, meatloaf and mashed potatoes with string beans and the eggplant parmesan with spaghetti. I actually order the eggplant weekly, it's the best I have ever had. Most of the meals are in a container large enough that you can share the meal with someone else or save for the next day. The baked goods are amazing as well. Reasonably priced, I can honestly say it's cheaper and more convenient for me to buy dinner from Casertanos than try to cook after working. Casertano’s has been our go to for catering all sorts of events from family parties, our kid’s birthdays, and even our wedding! They consistently have wonderful and easy customer service. Ellen is wonderful to work with; she will accommodate your requests and come up with unique and delicious ideas. Our wedding in 2020 was catered by them, including our wedding cake!! It was amazing and we had so many compliments on the food. Most recently, we ordered our child’s birthday cupcakes from them (Minion theme) and they were a hit! Cannot recommend them enough. #1: I ordered my son's gluten free, dairy free, and nut free birthday cake and cupcakes from them, not only did everything look amazing but everything tasted delicious, fresh and perfect. Every single piece of cake went and my son went crazy over the cupcakes. I was charged an excellent price for every thing I got, they were the lowest priced place I could find easily half the price of competitors, so happy I ordered from them!
