LOUSY customer service from a certain 2 teenage girls working cash register. Grow Up !! For me, this was NOT about racism !! Here is what happened (my testimony ): The woman in front of me annoyed me because she practically took up 2 parking spaces with her car, and was now yakking away on her cell while taking awhile to order. When it was my turn to order, the cashier girl seemed like she was ready to dislike me (a 60 yr white woman, casually dressed). Let me guess: a) you dislike all white women, or b) you noticed my face expression while I was waiting on line, and c) both a and b Now here's where things got "ugly": I asked for a "Bacon Gouda Sandwich" and a "Tall Decalf" and this girl replied, "Decalf Latte" ? I said "No, a "Tall Decalf coffee" to which she replied: "We don't have Decalf".........But wait, it gets better: I couldn't believe what she was actually saying to a Starbucks customer!!!! I mean that's like telling a McDonald's customer "We don't have any hamburgers" !!! Was this cashier girl so busy focusing on her "dislike" for me that she decided to give me an attitude? Or maybe she just has ZERO knowledge of "CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS"? OR BOTH ? I said something about how I've been to Starbucks in other states and never did any barista tell a customer: "We don't have Decalf". Then she said, "We don't have Decalf at this location". WHAAAAT ? Now I said, "There's a first time for everything".... "Do you have "Decalf Americano", she replied that they did, but that it had to be made or something else. At this point, I figured I'd just get my coffee at Wawa for less money. So as I waited for my sandwich, I saw the 1st cashier walk through the "storage area" door and decided to ask the 2nd teenage girl cashier for my receipt (which was not given to me when I paid). Now this girl was "MISS ATTITUDE 2024". That's just my view. She immediately said she already knew what I had ordered (she absolutely did not). After her failing to retrieve my receipt a couple times, I asked if she wanted to know what I ordered ( 5 minutes prior)...she said "No" & repeated that she knew what I ordered.... ALWAYS WITH ATTITUDE!!š”. Then I said "Please don't take this personally", and AGAIN she answered with ATTITUDE & said, "I'm not taking it personally". FINALLY, after this 2nd teenage girl cashier failed again to locate my receipt ( still insisted she knew my order), a tall young female co-worker came over to tell cashier what my order was. The attitudes came from the 2 black, female, teen, cashiers who WRONGLY ASSUMED that I was angry at them because I was a racist. These 2 cashiers COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG!!!! The truth is, that I have Zero patience for BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I also can't stand it when someone uses 2 parking spaces in a small area. To all people ages 18 - 40, learn this: When a customer expresses anger over a situation involving your company's products and services, ... IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU!!!!.. ANGRY CUSTOMERS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ANGRY WHEN THEY DON'T RECEIVE REASONABLE SOLUTIONS FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU!!!! HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!!! WAKE UP AND SMELL...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered one Grande Americano via drive through on friday, Aug 25th around 3:30pm. There were only 4 cars ahead of me. Waited over 15 minutes and finally got to the window. For payment, I was asked to scan my card and press a button. I could see nothing on the screen, and really couldnt figure out what the buttons were. Also with my short hands itās an effort to reach out and press the buttons! Apparently they are the tip buttons with various percentages. I had a splitting headache and all I wanted was to pick my coffee and leave. I randomly pressed a button and that didnt go through! I was again presented with pressing the tip button! I asked the lady to read out the buttons, and my frustration must have showed and the lady at the window finally relented and said āshe would do the āskip tipā button for me and let the payment go through. I didnt even know before there was a skip button before! Finally I was out of there. Worst part- the coffee was undrinkable. It was barely warm. Probably made it immediately after I ordered and it sat around till I picked it up after the longest drive through wait ever! Dumped the whole cup. I blew 20 minutes of my time and $4, and got frustration and a headache in return. Starbucks should stop this tip nonsense at drive through while paying with card. Or atleast have employees ask customers if they would like to add a tip and add it for them.I thought the employees unionized and they get better paid compared to others in the same industry. I used dunkin drive through all the time and never ever have I been asked to choose tip on the payment machine. In fact they get your card, scan it and you are done. No need for the gymnastics needed at the window! If people order a hot coffee, they mean hot. Make sure itās hot before you had it offā¦
I will never ever go to this particular starbucks in the Eden circle, Bear...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis has to be the busiest Starbucks in Delaware. To avoid the long wait, I order through the app every morning. Today I walked in didnāt see my mobile order ready so I stood around waiting. 10 minutes later an employee says they havenāt received any mobile orders and to go to the register to re-order. There was an audible groan from everyone waiting. Would have been nice to know that when I first walked in and stood by the mobile orders. I told the lady I had been waiting for 10 minutes and was now late to work, she asked me what I got so I told her. Iāll be the first to admit my order is not the easiest to make. Instead of her making the drink she passes it to someone else without telling him anything except it was a quad shot with creamer. I felt bad for the guy he was so stressed out so I left it at that. Mind you I pay extra money for syrups, sweetener, etc. and I got none of that. To the owner: You NEED to hire more people to work the morning shift. To anyone that comes here I highly suggest ordering through the app and getting it in the drive through. The employees that work the drive thru are some of the nicest people Iāve ever met. Anytime I walk in, the employees are always unpleasant,...
