If I could rate this how I want it would be more like negative 5 stars!!! My fiancé and I decided to eat here after seeing a movie.... yeah I passed up Suki Hana which was a mistake. When we got in line everything seemed ok...I ordered my food the woman tells me it will be 4 extra mins for the honey walnut shrimp.. I say ok and continue to travel down the line when the other woman (standing right next to the 1st woman) says, "we ain't got that" I said "ok, well she said 4 minutes" ... She continues to say "well I'm sorry she told you that... We ain't got it". I have no idea why she's not taking this up with her co-worker instead of the customer...I can't see the inventory?!?! So I order something else .. I get to the register the cashier asks me dining in or take-out? In mid sentence the previous customer who already paid jumped right back in front of me.... And told the cashier that she rung her up wrong. I get no "excuse me..." "One second..." "My apologies..." Just a plain rude interruption which left me standing right there waiting another 10.... Yes 10 min transaction for the previous customer's refund. Not to mention the entire time we are going down the line that every single person opened my food and talked all over it... Trying to figure what's inside it when they write what's inside the damn container. When we finally get to our drinks 3 of the drinks on the fountain drink machine were out of order. There were no napkins where they should have been and we were given zero napkins when paying for our food. The strange thing though, is that we asked a worker for napkins, and they were definitely Shop Rite store brand. And... No-one ever filled the napkin dispenser. I am guessing that they underestimated their needs, and are only giving them out to people who ask. The sweet tea was so damn sweet we almost had a heart attack sipping from the straw. The beef was hard and dry, and the orange chicken literally tastes like a McDonald's nugget with orange sauce on it. The lo-mein was dry, stringy, and mostly cabbage. The pepper chicken consisted mostly of celery and onion. Soooo darn ridiculous. I could have went to the mall... Got better service and twice the amount of food. NEVER...
Read moreTonight while waiting for our food we sat at a table, I witnessed the MANAGER scooping rice into pans from the steamer.....he used a scoop & his HANDS with NO GLOVES at first I just watched then he went to the back to retrieve more pans, never washed his hands and returned to task of scooping rice USING HIS HANDS, he them proceeded to put a USED pad on the end of a mop, and clean the wall & sink area (still hasn't washed his hands) and then went to STIR CHICKEN that was cooking!!!! The most unsanitary I've seen in food service since prior to COVID rules. Not 1 person scooping food had on gloves as well. Then to top it off after a 15 minute wait my order was WRONG when i got home!! I paid 1.25 x2 for double honey walnut shrimp and they doubled the other entree and not the one I requested. After all of this, my husband brought to the manager attention his contaminating action....the response was UMM MY HANDS ARE CLEAN.....I beg to differ. So needless to say we should have asked for refund and left, live & learn....didn't eat my entree as it was covered in the one I wasn't eating!!! And to top it off, after waiting getting to the car, the worker ran out...he gave us a wrong order....just switched boxes and returned inside. I was so excited Panda came to our area, but now I'll have to drive if I want it....refuse to return to a place where there is NO RULES for GLOVES when...
Read moreI have to share my disdain for this location in particular. I've dined at Panda Express from California to Maryland and plenty of stops in between.
My favorite dish at this franchise is veggie spring rolls dipped in their Red Sweet and Sour Sauce. This location is literally the only location that I've encountered, mind you I've dined coast to coast at Panda Express, that wouldn't give me sweet and sour sauce in any other manner than individual packets. It's labeled as sweet and sour, but it isn't anywhere near the flavor or quality as the sauce from the kitchen.
Getting this sauce from the "kitchen" has been the norm for me at dozens upon dozens of locations across the county. The cashier named "Milan" told me "no, we can't do that." I asked why this is, and she replied "you just can't, it's only for cooking, you're not allowed to have it." All of which was said with a tone of voice I would describe as condescending.
She later gave me 6 little packets of whatever sauce that actually is(they call it "sweet and sour") but it doesn't taste the same and it's in the most inconvenient form factor manner. We had to go back to get more because the minuscule amount of sauce contained in 6 tiny packets was not sufficient for our quantity of food, so we went back again and we were handed only 3 tiny packets. They're retaining this sauce like it's unobtainium.
Absolutely...
