Went about a month ago with my husband wanting some Chinese food. We went and the food was cold and not fresh at all. While we were eating our “waitress” would come over every 10 minutes saying “thank you” for no reason and would stare at our table about every 3 minutes as if she wanted us to leave. Went back about a week ago and that same “waitress” was there once again food not fresh at all and all cold. She was staring at us again from across. I had to use the restroom so I took my wallet out my pocket to give it to the husband so he could hold on to while I went real quick and she ran over to our table very fast with her hand out saying “thank you” and we were confused. She then proceeded to say “tip, tip, tip” about 10 times. Keep in mind we were only on our second plate not even done still trying to finish our meal. She then reached across the table across from both my husband and I while we were eating!! She grabs our receipt from across and takes a pen out her pocket and where it says “tip” on the receipt she circles it giving us the pen proceeding to say “tip, tip, tip” once again. At this point we are getting annoyed because we were still in the process of eating and I only took my wallet out to use the restroom. This restaurant is unprofessional and rude. Never again. Food and service is not better can go...

I was out running errands when an incredible hunger gripped me. I drove through the shopping center hoping to find something that would quench it, and there it was! Lucky Buffet! I figured I'd take my chance, I love a solid Chinese buffet. I needed a mask to enter, had forget one, and lady at the desk sorta reluctantly gave me one. Beyond that point, no enforcement of masks, take with that as you will.

The food is tasty, and there is a nice atmosphere. There are quite a few buffet lines, which should have a large variety. Staff does well on keeping the floors and tables clean.

However, Variety first appears numerous but upon closer inspection, is repeating a lot, making minute changes. Most of the selections seem to just be... Lacking. Like Mai Fun is very thick rice noodles (I still think it's spaghetti noodles honestly). A lot of bland flavors, or things sit for too long, and become hard and dry.

Now, I'd like to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I came for lunch ($11.45) on a Thursday, which is honestly a little steep for the quality of food. Maybe this is an off day, or dinner is better. Regardless, there's too many food options around here to be running like this if they wanna stay in business.

P.s. Give us actual Asian food, and not discount...

So, my family and I are usuals at this place. We ignore the owner who assumes the front desk is her throne to look down on everyone because the food (weekends only) is pretty good. However Were southern folks so on holidays I or my husband usually cook. Welp, silly us for trying to change it up. This past Sunday Fathers day we went and there was NOTHING new on he bar to make it "Fathers Day Special" but some snow crab which ONLY my mother ate. Now again we frequent here so pur bill is almost always about $55 depending on of we get beer or just soda still only a $2 difference. But because she decided she would take advantage of the holiday our bill was over $93! I was TICKED! she said that's all day and there was a sign saying that. Rather you have snow crab or not. The sign said "Fathers day special snow crab dinner all day"! So one would assume that the snow crab is offered all day and should you get it (like most restaurants do) then you et the special billing. Because of that stunt of thievery we will NEVER come here again. Smh, lost the business of loyal customers because she wanted to take advantage and he sad thing is they get good business I n Sundays especially there was no...

Maybe every other year, I might go to an Asian buffet. Since buffets, in general, have been closed I thought I would check out this place that has reopened its buffet. The restaurant was clean and tidy. All things are self serve (beverages and silverware) but a server walks around frequently to retrieve your dirty dishes. The place was moderately busy and there was never too many people clustered around the buffet. They had all the standard dishes (lo mein noodles, beef and broccoli, assortment of soups, Kung pao chicken, peel and eat shrimp, sushi, etc) along with a build your own teppanyaki that is stir fried in front of you. There were also plenty of buffalo wings and crispy fried wings. Which would certainly make this a value ($13.50 per adult for lunch) with the rising cost of wings. Of course, the kids will be happy with the chicken nuggets and the cheesy pizzas (and the adults too). The buffet was always full, kept clean and continually wiped down. If you leave room, there are box freezers filled with ice cream cups and fun popsicles (which are included). If you're too full, for an extra $.75, you can take it with you. If you enjoy buffets, this is probably for you.

This establishment had gone through a couple of ownership in the past. It is located conveniently off Route 1 Highway and Route 40 exit, at the end of the Governor's Square plaza. Plenty of room and tables on the inside, with a large party room. Most of the entrees served are American Chinese. So if you're looking for authentic provincial Chinese cuisine, this is not the place. However, it does have a hibachi grill that offers most of the meat choices and stir ins. The BBQ ribs and wings are surprisingly tasty as well. The drinks are self serve, same as silverware and chopsticks. Pricing seems at par with other buffets in the area.

Typical Chinese buffet, not bad. Good variety of food, dishes were the right temperature, nothing looked like it had been sitting out for a long time. Interestingly, it self service soft drink machine which I prefer. No one bothered us while we were there, staff was polite, grabbed empty plates, and were not pushy to get us out.
