Arby's — Restaurant in Beaufort

Grabbed a quick lunch while on that side of town. I picked the French Dip combo. It came with au just on the side and with curly fries and a drink. My server was a nice young man and I quickly had my food. I also ordered one of their apple turnovers for my dessert. If you have never had one of their fruit turnovers you are in for a real treat because they are better than any I have had from the grocery store bakeries. I finished only half of my sandwich and fries but took the other half of my sandwich home for lunch the next day. I also ordered 2 cherry turnovers to go. They make a super breakfast with a cup of coffee. It was after the lunch rush so it was fairly quiet and I was able to read my Kindle while I ate. We went for the Fish Sandwiches advertised on TV as 2 for $5.00. No signage about the Special. Sandwiches looked nothing like on the commercial. Fish is thinner & not as long since last year & advertisement. Bun also looked nothing like the Ad. The man cleaning tables had some mental challenges which I commend Arby's for hiring. He was friendly to the Customers & seemed to do a thorough job. However, I went to the Ladies Room before exiting with the woman I was with. As I came out of the Bathroom this man was coming in to gather trash. He never knocked & I said there is a woman in there. He said " I know. " & proceeded to attempt to go in. I said he can't go in there. He then became nervous & apologetic. This could have been a MAJOR PROBLEM! Please keep enforcing rules...

Disaster!!! No napkins at all in the place. They had a big roll of paper towels from bathroom you had to tear off for yourself. Drink counter looked like a bunch of 2 years old went through and made a huge mess. The sauce dispenser looked like it had not been cleaned in a month. Ketchup dispenser nozzle was knocked off and just sitting in the side letting the ketchup from the dispenser ooze on to the counter. No condiment cups were out. Just a complete mess. Told the clerk and his response was that it's lunch and we are busy. No joke you are busy but you still need to clean the place up and keep it nice. So you will get return customers.
