We love to eat at IHOP but this was our worst experience ever! I think our waiter really tried but the service was not very good. He did not fill up our drinks until we were almost done eating. I asked for gravy for my Dad's Country Fried Steak and we never got it. His Country Fried Steak Dinner came with 2 eggs and there may have been one teaspoon of gravy on the top. It was very dry! I could tell he was having a hard time eating it and it was $15.?? Just terrible. I was hungry for one of their steak burgers. Well forget that! The picture on the menu was a thick steak burger. This burger was very thin and part of it still had cold places in it. It was as thin as a burger from McDonald's! I just finally picked up the burger and 2 bacon strips and ate that and left the rest of the bun, 1 very small tomato and a thin slice of lettuce. Huge disappointment. The only thing that was good was the onion rings. We couldn't seem to get the waiter to come to our table to refill our drinks even though he said to let him know if we needed anything. The ceiling had what looked like black mold and the bathroom had a toilet seat that was coming off. When we got our bill, it was the wrong bill. The waiter had to get that sorted out. I left there hungry and I am sure my dad was hungry too. I am so very sorry we went there to eat. We had just left Beaufort National Cemetery where we went to visit my mother's grave. My bill came to $39.?? and I left a $5.00 tip. So that was $44.00 for that meal for my Dad and I. His meal was supposed to be $15.??and my meal was supposed to be $10.99. My calculator shows $26.?? Where did the extra $14.00 come from? I am sure the two sweet tea's were not that much! I was so upset I stuffed the receipt in my purse. It must have dropped out when I went to the restroom. Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn Motherās Day I placed an online order at 7:41 am for a 8:30 pick up of a small stack of pancakes, one waffle, and 2 orders of bacon. I waited around until almost 9:40am. I never received my order. I asked them to just cancel it because the staff was very nonchalant and not very apologetic. A guy went back to see if my order was going to be done soon but was told no not for a while so he took down my information to have the manager refund my money. He also asked me to go on my account to see if I can cancel it on my end but they do not have a way to do that. I was assured that my money would be refunded. It wasnāt.
The almost 32 dollars cleared my bank and there was not a refund pending. So I call up there and speak to a nice girl on the phone. She just like the guy from Motherās Day take down my information including my order number and last 4 of my card to get the manager to refund me. Days go by still no pending refund.
So I wait another day and go to the restaurant. I ask to speak with the manager and explain the situation. I guess I spoke with the assistant manager, the actual manager to refund did not come out. I was assured once again by the assistant she will personally make sure the manager goes in the system and refunds me. I was told to wait a couple days and I will see it in my account even if it takes a few days to clear. Once again nothing.
Now I have called corporate to speak to someone and yet again they have taken my information and made a report this time. Itās ridiculous, I just want my money back simple. Basically 32 dollars for 3 pancakes and 1 waffle is crazy then not to receive it and have to go through all of this to get my money back.
Iāll be adding this ihop to my long list of places not to go back to in Beaufort.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreA bug was crawling on table grandson ordered hamburger and fries they put no ketchup, mustard,or ketchup French fries were frozen sent nacky 2 times still wasn't right,bowl of grits was sent back 4 times from extremely lumpy cold twice the bacon was so crisp that you could almost taste the burn in the bacon it was also sent back I went to put a piece of jelly onto my toast open the jelly and what do I see green and white mold they only offered to go to the one moldy jelly away and proceeded to walk away and leave the whole container of jelly that they had no clue if it was any more mold beer and like I said my son got four or maybe five shrimp a handful of cold french fries there was no ketchup offered on the tables instead of having your teeth hurt when you asked for a second glass they still leave about 3 in of sugar in the bottom I have never in my life had such horrible service and the staff that y'all hired didn't care whether it was made right or not all they were worried about was the 70 bucks for the meal and a tip well I'm not tipping moldy foodwe ended up leaving with the meal sitting in front of the on the table because it was just so absolutely nasty that you could not eat and I feel like IHOP should be ashamed of yourself for not trying to make this right this was really bad bad bad bad service and as far as the bug goes the manager which said that you guys get sprayed I'm not sure what kind of bug it was but I guess you all got sprayed and she announced that where everyone else can hear it and no one from the corporate office no one seems to care of that service I will never as long as I'm going to eat in that particular IHOP again because of and everyone I can stop from eating there at that place I will do...
