The song No Roll Modelz by J. Cole goes like this âfool me once shame on you, fool me twice cant put the blame on you, fool me three times f* the peace sign load the chopper let it rain on youâŚ. That is where Iâm at right now with this place but I will review you instead. Three times I have been there and three times the same twit has screwed up. 1st time. I was called a F** B because I told her our glasses were empty, our sushi was not ordered, and then the attitude. The manager on duty told me that she is always like that unless you are a male without a wedding ring on hand. OK! I moved on. 2nd time. Spicy tuna roll tasted like it was left in the hot sun and then refrigerated for a couple days. They tried to give me another one out the same stock. YUCK! 3rd time. Ordered online gave 30 min. Drove there to hear from same server that âOh our online ordering is down. (BTW the phone is off too canât pay the bills anymore aye! Business is bad I guess with service so bad) So I waited. I waited alongside another individual who had the same thing going on. I got offered a drink. She didnât. Is it because she was African American and I am European? Or because I ordered more moneyâs worthâŚ. Shouldnât matter. So I walk out and go. I get to my destination and what do I find. No salads no spicy mayo THAT I ORDERED!!! Call up, speak with manager (different from first manager) I get the same bloody apology she always gives. Well you can come back and get it. Yeah ok thatâs why I ordered take out! Then she says well my hostes is newâŚ. Wait what?? The same girl with the braidâŚ. NO! She has been there a while is she gold to yaâllâŚ. Yaâll never do anything about her. So I hang up. Service sucks, management sucksâŚ. Sake House you need to clean house or you will go down the drain like the rest of the businesses in Beaufort if you...
Read moreUsed to come in to sit at the bar and graze on some sushi when I studied. After a stressful day, my roommate and I called in a to go order before work to treat ourselves. After placing the order, we arrived to pick it up and they even carried to to our car. To our dismay, we realized the food order was wrong when we got home. We called the place back and they wanted us to bring it back. After a 40 minute shuffle, we came in to get our food and watched them as they took the bag with the wrong food out of the old bag, into a new one, and hand it off to the other customers like it came out of the kitchen. As someone who has worked in and helped open restaurants before, I was appalled. "Jessica" got lucky we did not touch anything at home. After asking to speak to the manager, as the whole fiasco was actually making me late (which I get fined for), she proceeded to call us stupid for taking the wrong order and refused to take any responsibility despite the fact they walked it THEMSELVES to our car. She claimed her staff had never made a mistake in 2 years and never even bothered to apologize for the hassle that started this in the first place. At this point, we asked to have a refund as we didnt want to support a business that treats people this way and she LOST IT, refusing to refund me til we insisted. You could tell her serving staff was embarrassed because she returned the $14 tip we left her. A simple apology and an offer to find a solution would have been a perfectly fine response. It was not the fact that the staff handed us the wrong food, but the way we were treated by their manager and the gross food practices that led me to leave this review.
Oh and watch your fruit for your drinks. I was served a half-white-with-mold lemon slice before. When the food is dirt cheap, you might wanna ask...
Read moreTwo stars only because the food was great, but the waiter was rude. I was eating dinner with my husband and two other friends. I was drinking since my husband was driving. I was a bit tipsy at this point and realized to stop drinking. I picked up some shrimp sauce and I spilled it, no big deal, right? Well, the waiter goes to grab napkins, comes back and she asks "Did you spill anything else?" I was starting to become frustrated because that's not how you should talk to your customers. Children make messes too, well a little bit later she comes to pick up the glasses and says "Let me move these before you break them." At this point I wanted to leave but stayed because the food was great and wanted to spend time with our friends. I felt embarrassed being there, I was being treated like a child. Our group noticed this too. Needless to say, she didn't receive a tip, I wasn't even belligerent at all. I thought it was only me but when she came to get more of the empty dishes, we had the napkins from the spill I made. One of our friends points to it, and the waiter takes the tray and moves it towards her so THEY can clean it up for her. That's...
