After reading about Sumo Hibachi and Sushi, we decided to give it a try for our hibachi cravings, and it did not disappoint. With just 50 reviews, this hidden gem surprised us with its exceptional food and service.

We ordered the large steak and shrimp express bowl, and it was fantastic. The express bowl is a great option if you prefer a large serving of fried rice and meat without the vegetables, which suits my taste perfectly. My partner opted for the chicken and shrimp hibachi, which included a generous portion of vegetables and was equally delicious.

To start, we had clear soup and two cheesesteak egg rolls, both of which were amazing. The clear soup was refreshing and topped with mushrooms, setting a great tone for the meal. The egg rolls were crispy and flavorful, a delightful appetizer.

I saw this place was open yesterday and grabbed one of the conveniently placed paper menus outside their entrance, thinking I may have found my new sushi place. We came and got lunch today and was greeted by friendly staff and a clean and modern seating area. We ordered 2 clear soups, steamed pork dumplings, spicy salmon sushi roll, spicy tuna sushi roll, and the chicken hibachi plate. The soup and sushi came out first and was amazed at the portion sizes of the soups. The soup was very refreshing and topped with mushrooms. The sushi was delicious, especially when topped with a little wasabi. The steamed dumplings came out shortly after and I was amazed at the flavor of the dumplings. They felt very light but were flavorful, especially when paired with the sauce. The chicken hibachi was delicious and I loved how the vegetables were very lightly sauced allowing the flavor of the vegetables to come through. The portion size was large, leaving me with enough leftovers for another meal.

First time eating here. Will definitely be back. We usually go to the other local hibachi restaurant but decided to try this one. You place your order at the counter, pay, and sit down. They will bring your food to you. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken plate, steak plate, and snow crab roll. Food was steaming hot with great flavor. Meat was cut up small enough that we didn’t have to cut it. The vegetables were perfect. The roll was delicious. You can easily get 2 meals out of your order as the portions are plentiful.
