My husband and I placed a delivery order and were given a delivery time of 8:30pm, and then 8:46, and then 8:50, and then it was cancelled as the tracker was showing the driver was on a nearby road from our house. We live on Laurel Bay and understand that it is hit or miss regarding doordash delivery drivers being able to come onto base. We ordered directly through the papa johns website (papa johns uses doordash for delivery drivers). The driver contacted us once to ask if we were on base, we said yes, he asked if we could meet him at the gate to which we declined considering we were busy with other things, he never responded. My husband then messaged him a few minutes later asking if he had the order and would still deliver it and he never responded to that either. We then saw the app change our delivery status to cancelled about 10 minutes after those messages happened and we were persistently watching and refreshing the page. I then proceeded to call the store numerous times to ask for an update and they continuously put us on hold without asking/saying anything to me. We drove to the store, explained the issue, and the shorter lady with curly-ish blonde hair was very sweet and helped us find the order online and remade our order for us right then and there and proceeded to give us a refund. 5 stars strictly for her. The taller blonde lady with a lip piercing that worked there couldnāt find our order on the computer before asking the other lady to help us and I noticed the taller blonde lady was rolling her eyes at the phone every time somebody called and immediately putting them on hold. They also did not seem very busy besides making a pizza for somebody when we arrived and making something for another customer when we left. I ordered 4 pizzas online and sent my brother to pick them up. He got there, and they gave him 3, and he asked if there was a 4th. They said no, and so he left confused. The labels even said 4 pizzas, but he didn't know to check it. When they came back with 3 pizzas, I called, and they knew the exact pizza they missed. The first call they said sorry, and i asked them to deliver it. The rude manager called back and said the only way to get the 4th pizza was to come all the way back to the store or pay the $5+ for the delivery fee (or credit the pizza - I'm from out of town so an in-store credit wasn't an option). She was unwilling to eat the cost and somehow tried to blame it on me and make me go back and get it or pay an additional fee. Ridiculous. She hung up on me when I was bewildered at her, basically putting the liability and solutions on me. Never go here!!! Worst pizza experience ever. I used to work at PJs when I was a kid for a few years, and the culture is drastically different from the way my manager ever treated anyone. Wish I knew something would be done, but I'm positive that the lady doesn't care...

So when we reached out to them they were very rude and disrespectful... They argued with us saying there was nothing that they could do since it was an online order. Which is unheard of. They said that they could remake the order but we would have to pay. Why should someone have to pay for their screw up. The Beaufort location really needs to get it together. Whatever manager and staff that was working there on the night of 3/12/22 really needs to find another place to work and stay FAR FAR AWAY from anything that has to do with customer service... If I could give NEGATIVE STARS for this location I would. Unfortunately they're getting a undeserving 1...
