I would appreciate if you honored your franchise advertising! The store @ 5760 Walden Rd.Suite #214 Beaumont, Texas 77707,1 of 2 in my city, that represents the franchise name does not honor the company's advertising neither do they honor the company reward system.
Case and point, reward system first, I told the sales lady,at the point of sale, that I have the marble slab app and she told me that she could not apply my purchase, and that I would have to scan my receipt myself. I attempted to scan my receipt in the store and when it would not allow me to go any further than my phone number and a scan code picture that would not respond, I asked for her assistance. She told me that she could not help me because she did not know how to work the app. I scanned it when I got home, and was also now offered the option to scan my receipt, (I was not offered this option in the store at all) but the app told me that the code was invalid. It offered me to put the scan number in manually ,which I did, and was told again that my code was invalid. Therefore my purchase of $9.00($8.99) is not being applied to my marble slab account.
Addressing the advertisement that mixâins are unlimited. In this same store there are signs all over the counter that tell you how many mix-ins you are allowed for the size purchase you are making and what the price is with and without mix-ins which is contrary to the free unlimited mix-in advertising that is posed @ every Marbleslab creamery. I have mentioned to the operators of the store on different occasions since they opened that this is not the marble slab way but I was told repeatedly that 'this was their way'.So they have had ample opportunity to correct this issue but they refuse to.This totally opposes the truth of the franchise advertising and is not fair to the consumers of this area that patronize this business based on the name and amazing tasty treats offered.
In addition to all of this, the spirit in which they serve and communicate with all the consumers is not conducive to them being representatives of a happy place! They should recognize that all the hands that they are placing the tasty treats in are purple, bleed red, all the money is green, and together the process is helping to keep their doors opened one purchase at a time.
This store is not worthy to carry/operate under the franchise name unless they operate by the bylaws of the franchises'...
Read moreWe came in on July 8th around 815pm and two ladies were working. My family of three bought ice cream (which was all delicious), but both ladies werent friendly at all. I would try to say something, thank them, or ask a question and we would either be ignored or it seemed that we were a bother. My mother in law came in with us and when we walked out she even said that the ladies were very rude. We love coming to this one because we live close, but if these ladies are the ones serving us we wont purchase anything. We will gladly go to sonic down the street. Very disappointed in our experience this evening. Hope this was a one...
Read moreI had a Fudge Brownie Sundae, which was pretty good. However, the ice cream was better than the brownie though. My husband had a Snickers Shake, which he said was not thick enough. Our son had a Strawberry đ Shake and he enjoyed it. When we arrived, there was no one inside waiting, which can be a good thing, but the employee must've been working on something in the back, because she didn't come out front to help us right away. She wasn't rude, but wasn't overly friendly either. Overall, I give this location 3 stars instead of 0, because I truly like Marble Slab's ice cream in general, and because they're not too far...
