Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Beaumont

The only reason I'm giving this place low rating is due to a recent encounter with one of their baristas. She made this entire location look bad and she had absolutely zero regret for her behavior towards a customer flat out did not care that her attitude was going to leave a tarnish mark on the entire company.

I also want to go on record and say that she is the only one that's ever acted that way everyone else has been very kind and normally that wouldn't have made a difference except that her attitude and behavior went above and beyond anybody should have to endure. But all it takes is one bad fruit to ruin the vine and she was that person for me. I have been a faithful customer since the day they opened but no longer. It started when I pulled up to the drive-up speaker. I order every single day pretty much the exact same thing but when I pulled up she said and I quote "What do you want". Honestly that didn't bother me because I thought initially it was one of the ones that I normally do with who maybe had this gotten used to me seen my car and was trying to make a friendly banter but that was not the case. When I realized she wasn't just being funny I apologize to her like I done something wrong and it only got worse from there. After ordering my drink I had planned on adding some other items but she cut me off and so I decided to leave well enough alone and proceed to get my coffee. When I got to the window she was giving me a death stare again I could not figure out what I had done wrong to this girl. It was the very first time I had ever seen her there, it was a very first time I had ever had her wait on me and I had absolutely no idea why she was so angry at the world. Long story longer she ended up running my car told me it was declined which confused me but then I realized that I had made a mistake and the fact that I had locked my car before leaving the house. Once hit me that I had done that I immediately said I am sorry and told her what I had done and proceeded to unlock my card she really started acting ugly towards me and she didn't care that I seen her acting ugly towards me. Anyone who knows me knows that I am full of life I love to laugh I love people yeah you want to come in He said yeah you want to come in cuz she wouldn't filling me at all. After I unlocked my card, I handed it back to her and she said it's declined and I'm like it's declined? She ran it again she said yes it's declined. Meanwhile on my phone I'm getting a notifications that it wasn't decline that it had gone through and in fact my bank fraud sent me a text message asking if it was me. I responded yes. I try to explain and she wasn't having it she literally stared at me with this death glare. She didn't even bat an eye she just stare at me and refuse to respond I don't know It was weird. So I took my card and left without my drink went to the gas station next door and my card went right through proceeded to go to the next donut shop picked up an order for me in my office as I was always due and went through with no issues. I have no idea what I did to set this girl off but nonetheless...

Pros: large interesting menu, some munchies Cons: very little parking, difficult to get in and out of

It's drive-through only, so I thought they'd have more parking. I tried their maple bourbon cold brew; no maple, no bourbon, very weak coffee flavor, very sweet, a meh drink. I tried a couple more drinks, and all of them were on the sweet side with little coffee flavor. So it's great if you don't like strong coffee drinks, but if you want more of a coffee flavor you may want to go somewhere else. Their cake bites were...

The service is very good, there are very sweet people serving you. The coffee is comparable to Starbucks both in flavor and price (so just fine, I'd say). I am sorry to say I was mortified by the Bacon Burrito. It might be the worst burrito I have ever had. I think they need to reevaluate the ingredients for that menu item. The burrito is a hot, pressed tortilla (fine), but the contents are an incredibly bland mush mixture of what I am guessing are eggs, cheese, and chopped...
