I placed a mobile order at 2:55 P.M. at the Whataburger on Dowlen/Calder in Beaumont, TX. I got there around 3:08, order was said to be ready for 3:02. I got to the speaker to tell them I had a mobile order around 3:19. The lady said they didn’t have anything and asked was it under a different name. I told her no, I asked what was the address there she said Dowlen.
I told her well thats what my app say. She continued to say they didn’t have my order. Mind you the money already came out my bank account. I told her thank you and pulled out the line when I was finally able to and parked. I called the location for a manager while still in line (took 2 minutes before they finally answered).
A lady answered I told her I needed to speak with a manager and she told me to hold on. I waited and she finally comes back and said the manager said she is busy and she’s in the back. I guess us paying customers are NOT important either. I said okay so what do you want me to do? She said you can tell me and I will tell her.
I told her about the issue with my order, places me on hold. Few minutes pass and she comes back and said she coming. I waited an additional 5+ minutes til the call total time came to 15 minutes. I called back 4 times until someone finally answered. I told them I have been waiting on hold for a manager for the last night 15 minutes. I stated I would like your district supervisor name and phone number. The lady said okay let me check the book and I’ll be right back with the info. She comes back and tell me hold on the manager is coming.
The manager finally comes and said she was dealing with another customer complaint. I told her that’s fine but I wanted her name, and the district supervisor name and phone number(she never gave it to me). She asked me what was going on I tell her and she said well we can’t make it if we never got the drop. She said they were also going through a shift change at that time. She starts asking the staff about the order then asked me what I ordered so I tell her.
She said she would do the order again. Apparently they gave it away. I told her no I just wanted my money back and the district supervisor info. She said she could give me the general(store) manager number because the issue would go to her anyway. She gave me the phone number to the store but never a name. I told her I would just contact corporate office.

My daughter and I go inside and both cashiers were being rude as hell to all the customers. We get to the register and I let the lady know we had a mobile order. She prints my receipt and gave me 2 of my cups for the fountain machine. My daughter ordered a shake, and I understand that is something that the staff has to make for us. Cool. We waited a good 10mins (mind you my mobile order should have been ready when we arrived according to what the app said) I noticed nobody has made an effort to make my daughters shake. The cashier Shanika is literally just standing there at the register with no customers. So I approached and said “Excuse me ma’am my daughter still needs her strawberry shake please.” She said “The shake machine is down so I don’t know what to tell you.” Excuse me??? I said “Ok no worries I’ll just take my money back then please.” To which she said “You did a mobile order. Get a refund on the app.” What!?! I asked for the manager at this time because nowhere on the app does it show where to get a refund. The manager Kierra then tells me “I don’t know what to tell you. We don’t give refunds for mobile orders.” Then proceeds to say she’s going to call the cops. Lol call the cops because you’re stealing my money?? Please do. Both were unbelievably rude as hell!! I would love for corporate to roll the cameras back because there is no way either of them should still have a job!! There was nowhere on the app to request a refund. You could “file a complaint” which I did and I will be disputing with my bank first thing in the morning. $40 and almost an hour wasted. Read moreJust now at around 12:00 pm - 12:15 pm . I ordered 2 fish combos and a Jr. Whataburger. The burger was fine. But the combo's we absolutely shocking. The fish was dried out from being cooked too long or dried out from being under the light, too long. I choose the latter. I called to tell the manager, but the person who answered started that they make the fish by order. It just happened that she was the one who made the order. I have been eating for a lifetime and I have eaten there for many years. This is one of the times that I am very displeased. Not only at the food but also at her attitude. She virtually told me I was lying. She said to bring them back, and she would redo the order. But if I didn't in so many words, I could fly. I let her know that I made it back to work, and I couldn't leave again. I she said oh well. I told her that was find I had to take that 39+ dollar loss she hung up.
