The products are still as good as they use to be but the service is not. New owners are very rude. Never had any issues with the old owners and they never acted like the new ones do. Definitely could work on how they deal with criticism and customers. You can see that just by how they reply and handle criticism. Very rude, dismissive to the customers, defensive, and passive aggressive when it comes to something they don’t like. Starting every reply with “I’m sorry you feel this way…” is not a very good way to go about stuff and they make it seem like it’s the customers fault. They ask why people don’t call or message with their concerns but I’d be scared to reach out seeing how they treat people in the reviews. Leaving a review is the same as reaching out. The business sees the review and sees how they can improve. There are good reviews so it seems not everyone has had this issue but they could definitely work on over all customers service. You may not agree with someone’s review but that’s their experience and as a business you should definitely not be leaving rude reply’s and dismissing their experience. The customer may not always be right but treating them that way isn’t right either. Ignore those reviews if they offend you or reply with a simple “I’m sorry we didn’t meet your standards” That’s part of owning a business. Love this place so much! Been coming here for so many years now...like 15 years at least. The most delicious soft serve ice cream is here. I always get a medium or large twist cone.. (vanilla & chocolate swirled together). My most favorite treat of all here though has to be the ORIGINAL SLUSH PUPPY drinks!! They always have my favorite flavor, blue raspberry, and it's the best! Brings back childhood memories whenever I have a Slush Puppy slush. I beg you, Blue Boy, please don't ever get rid of the Slush Puppy!! Their food is awesome here, too. I recently stopped by Blue Boy, and had a nice experience despite the chilly weather. We ordered two ice cream dishes—one was a single scoop of strawberry, and the other was chocolate cookie dough. Both were tasty and hit the spot.

The service was fast and friendly, and the place had a fun, retro vibe. It was clean inside, and while most of the indoor tables weren’t being used, we decided to eat in the car. There are also benches outside for when the weather’s nicer.
