Vocelli Pizza — Restaurant in Beaver Falls

This is only my second time ordering here, the first time was bad, not near as bad as today. I ordered online, and paid. There are no text updates, aside from “your order has been received”. I went in, stood around for about two minutes before being acknowledged. 4 people in the kitchen. One guys pops up, asked if I could be helped. Told them I ordered online. He told the other three stoners, front counter. Probably another 2 minutes pass, in the meantime two guys were talking to the original acknowledger, talking about deliveries, and not getting tips. At the same window. I then asked the guy, “Can I get my pizza!??” He said it needed paid for. I told him I paid online, he looked at the receipt, and brought me the pizza. So, the atmosphere is of a run down inner city Greyhound station. No dining, thankfully. The pizza wasn’t bad. The customer service was ridiculous. I’m sure 75% were under the influence. Anyone who says the customer service was great, are friends or relatives....

They wanted to hire me... until they found out I am in the Army.

I applied for the job, and the manager seemed to like me during the interview. I was called a few nights later and asked if I could come in that night. I replied that I was at drill for the Army National Guard. The store manager then informed me that I would not be called back.

My application clearly stated that I am in the National Guard. Not only was the store manager disrespectful, but his decision was illegal. I've served my country (Afghanistan) and this is how I am treated when I'm looking for a job? I will never purchase from this particular store again (I have no problems with other Vocelli's stores). During the interview he mentioned that it is important for business that employees maintain a professional attitude and appearance. Perhaps he should listen to his own advice.

Thankfully, I've had a great career opportunity come along since then. Very glad I didn't work...

I ordered online and the app told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. So I got down there in 25 minutes. After waiting 5 minutes for someone to notice me standing there I got told it would be another 25 minutes cause it hadn't been started. So I waited and after 25 minutes the manager lady told me it would be 10 minutes and she would start it. So I waited 10 minutes and she walked away and avoided me. So I yelled for one of the guys and asked if my food was ready. He said there was still 3 orders b4 mine, b4 it can even be started. I wasted an hr waiting and it still wasn't started. This isn't the first time I had this experience here. I will not go back and after all this I was never even offered any coupons or free food...
