Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Beckley

(12/10/2023) It was my first time at this place. In short It was basically a Qdoba but little more expensive. It was not even the price at this point. It was the service for me. There were Literally five workers that I could see from the register where I was waiting to place an order. I could definitely see the cook was busy cooking, and the girl on the food serving line was busy cleaning the area, but the girl on the register was just staring at my face and was like I am just here to take money. That being said, the guy who was initially on the cash register, told me that he will be back in just one second and never came back. The worst was one of this guy With an iPad of some kind in his hand acting like he’s doing something important walking back and forth.(perfect example of one of those managers who are just there to be there, but no help, garbage personality), this guy was looking at me for Sometime and did not even bother to ask if I was ready to order. I wanted to eat inside, but the tables looked like garbage. Totally empty but full of leftovers. I went to fill up my soda and could not stick my cup straight in the machine because it was full of ice on the bottom on the drain tray and the ice was spilling everywhere. So, I requested the girl at the register to make my food to go. Like I said The food tasted just like Qdoba and I could not tell the difference, food was good, but except the girl who was working on the Food Line and the grill cook, Everyone Looks like they don’t have work ethic at all. Quick service whenever I've been. When you arrive you stand in a line and order at the counter. I always get a bowl and my boyfriend always gets a burrito. You pick white or brown rice, a protein (barnacoa, chicken, steak, sofritas, caritas and sometimes a special like El Pastor), then you pick veggies, and beans, and toppings like queso, salsa, sour cream, guacamole. It's seriously a lot of food. My bowl is 2 meals. His burrito is the biggest I've ever seen and last time they needed 2 foils to wrap it because it was so fat. Maybe it's because we say yes to too many items? I don't know but we get our money's worth that's for sure and I enjoy my leftover meal the next day. It's very filling, pretty fast and we haven't had a bad meal...

Ouch! The price was stupid expensive. 23 bucks for a burrito, chips and guac with a drink. I could literally do Mexican with free chips, be waited on and get a buzz for less including tip. Chips were really stale for most part. Some were like rubber, folding in half and not breaking. Dining room was dirty. In 40 minutes I never saw a table get cleaned. Floor was dirty as well. It was not busy. 3 people came in after me. Parking....🙄 There's more parking for Togo than for dining in.
