Padrinos Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Beckley

My first time we came as a family. We decided to sample a little bit of everything to give this place an honest shot. We ordered a ham and pineapple calzone, shrimp scampi, fried cauliflower, fried pickles, lasagna, side orders of meatballs and sausage and lobster ravioli. The calzone was almost perfect. The bread was delicious and "more than courteous" amounts of cheese. Pineapple was not flavorful but I wouldn't hesitate to order another. The ravioli was great. The lasagna was some of the best around, again lots of cheese! The garlic bread was spot on and I understand why everyone rants about it so much. The fried appetizers were good and pretty much what you expect them to be. I will comment though on how flavorful the ranch was and I am not a ranch person so take that with a grain of salt. The sausage I will pass on but the meatballs were by far my favorite! They melt in your mouth and have no chewys or bones like others I've had. I called in a order of 2 sandwiches to be ready at 10 after 5 for my wife to pick up. When she arrived she saw the lady at the drive thru window give our food to the people in front in the car in front of us and then they gave it back cause it was the wrong order. My wife asked if that was our order they said it was so my wife refused it the lady then slammed the drive thru shut. The manager Jeffery told her it would be 15 to 30 minutes to redo the order in the mean time the lady doing orders thru the window had the customers inside laughing at my wife cause a woman in the restaurant waved at her twice and was laughing I wouldn't even give them a one star rating cause I can't give them a zero. I'll never go back to this place they need to fire the lady working the drive thru window she doesn't deserve to work there. They have no manners and don't care about people...

😡We won't be going back! Store bought breaded chicken & bland red sauce for Chicken Parmigiana. The Chicken Alfredo was soupy. We told the lady at the register how unsatisfied we were & she gave us a 10% discount. 👎We took 3 bites of our entrees. The appetizer of fried calamari was good. The side salads were awful. My husband's had Ranch dressing which according to the lady at register, was from Sam's Club (not Walmart, as my husband had thought). My Italian (house) dressing was a balsamic vinegar that when poured out, the seasonings came out in a clump/slab. Ugh! 😩 The side salad itself was chopped/chunks of iceberg lettuce with sliced of cucumbers & grape tomatoes. Very, very disappointed!
