I've had sizing jobs done there without any major issue, but most recently had a very dear ring to me, which was my grandmothers, an estate piece worked on -- not happy with the results. It is a ruby and diamond ring, which was in perfect condition except one of the accent diamonds was missing which was to be its only repair. Apparently in haste and probably carelessness, whatever heat was applied to replace this diamond left scorch marks which will not come off of the rubies. I have examined and do not know what to do about these scorch marks. Very disappointed, if you have priceless pieces I would find a higher end jewler. I guess when I can afford to I'll take it to Calvin Broyles and see what can be done. So sick over the lack of care! My chain on my necklace broke and all jewelry stores were telling me it would be over 2 weeks and I was hoping to find something quicker to have it fixed before I left for vacation.
