Not a great experience here. I believe I may have more to offer in oriental culinary arts than this restaurant offering multi-national dishes. This is hard to write up but all 3 parties with me gave up after 3-4 bites of separate dishes. Japanese and Thai foods are my favorite in the world and I have enough globe trotting experience (not to mention having lived there) in various Asian countries to know menu, ingredients and taste. I thought it may just be me with the beginning of appetizers that seemed (off) but No, it was everyone at my table. The restraunt looked the part. Not flashy, basic. Exactly how this type of restaurant should be. But when it comes down to food……that’s another story. I’ll only hit a couple of topics. The waiter seemed happy and delighted we were there. A most gracious host. But when I asked about a couple of my dishes in particular that’s when this place showed its true colors. The seaweed salad here is a carefully placed tiny portion of seaweed (that seemed a bit stale) placed on top of a chunk of lettuce. Lettuce? The waiter saw me eyeballing this concoction and almost never made it over. Bad sign when there are 8 people in the restaurant. When he did come over he started answering my question but he was so hung-ho to answer he failed to even wait to see why I had called him over and to boot I had not even spoken yet much less asked a question. He stated out of the blue “This is how my chef makes it”. I’ve lived in parts of Asia where these dishes hail but not once have I ever seen a place literally use lettuce…..EVER. Then Padi-Thai with chicken. I’ve never seen them made without the Padi noodles. Looked like Lo-Mein noodles and I don’t know what it was topped with but it sure wasn’t crushed peanuts. My guests had totally different dishes and by looks it wasn’t the norm but I know how it should taste. Even with differences. No where close. After 3-4 bites of my and my guests dishes we decided it was time to go. Also a first for me is having the waiter avoid me at all costs for a question that had yet to be asked. That’s 3 thumbs down and they don’t have to worry about any arguments from me; we won’t be back. On a separate note the Miso Soup was pretty good.

It was good. Your average hibachi. They put a sweet sauce on the meat which is new to me and I wasn’t a fan. It would be great for that to be an option to take off or just know that it’s there to be kept off. The rest of the food was yummy. It was $95 after tip for 2 adults and 2 kids. They have a koi fish pond that has way too many fish in such a small area that they also sell (very odd) and also sad. These fish need lots of room for how big they are and the water was extremely murky. I’ve never seen a pond like it in a restaurant before (as a fish lover, I was sad). The restaurant seemed clean overall but definitely needs some upgrades. The woodwork art they had around the restaurant was gorgeous. The waitress was super nice she has a boot on her foot I’m guessing she was hurt but still had to work. I understand everyone has bills to pay. I hope she gets well soon.

Great place to eat in Beckley to get some variety. Menu has Japanese, Chinese, and Thai options. The portions are HUGE for the amount they charge. Lots of options for vegetarians. Had the Pad Thai, red curry, hibachi, and spring rolls. The red curry was the best. The hibachi was flavorless but could be because we didn't get any yum yum sauce to go with it. The pad Thai was also good but was made with a different type of noodle than the traditional ones used in this dish and did not come with veggies as we had ordered. Also ordered miso soup and side salads. The soup was loaded with seaweed and the salad came with loads of ginger dressing on the side- they don't skimp here. All in all a great experience with really friendly service.

If I could give this establishment a -☆ I would. Full transparency.. I'm not from the area. I ordered online and it states to leave a tip for the delivery.I wrote that I would tip the driver upon arrival.

I called this establishment to ensure the delivery address was correct on their end. I was told they didnt deliver. I let them know their online ordering site is misleading and if they did not deliver why would they request a delivery tip. I asked if i am able to cancel the order if i wasnt able to pick it up.

The person who answered said yes it would just go back on my card. She stated shed have them hold on making the order until I called back to let them know if I was on my way. I called back to cancel and the suppoesed owner answered stating they cant cancel the order since it was placed online. That if I called it in that would be different. So i wouldve list 55.00 and food if I didnt pick it up. That was problem #1. I asked to speak back to the person who agreed to refund my order. She stated she was new just a waitress & advised me wrong. She did apologize to her credit. But she told me she couldn't do anything about it.

Problem # 2 BOTH MEALS WERE A WASTE OF MONEY & TIME!! For starters.. on the receipt I stated to please not to put veggies in my fried rice and to put them on the side. I ordered the house special hibachi chicken steak & rice. I got a side of noodles & a yummy role. They put corn in my fried rice. No vegetables at all. The steaked tasted literally JUST like liver. I SPIT IT OUT IMMEDIATELY & REALIZED I ALSO DIDN'T LIKE THE SCENT OF THE STEAK. The chicken & rice was dry and gross. The only thing that was HALFWAY decent was the shrimp.

The noodles were largely overcooked & also dry. The whole meal for 2 which was $70.00 in total.... once I paid a driver to take me to pick it up, was definitely NOT worth it. I have honestly only had one restaurant that halfway met My expectation since being here in Beckly WV.

As someone who prides myself on own talent with knowing my way around a kitchen, it's important that when you serve meals, not only is your presentation of said meal is on point, the meal has to be equally flavorful, well seasoned, tender for various cuts of protein and your side dishes should be equally on point.

I took all of three bites and it still landed in the garbage. I would not recommend the food here. Not just because of the mediocre Customer Service. But the food was not good at all. They didn't follow simple directions clearly written out on the receipt. Overall if give this restaurant a (- n-e-g-a-t-i-v-e) zero. Do...

Had a terrible experience when I went for a take out food on July 24, 2025, around 5 pm. The lady at the counter had absolutely unacceptable customer service manners. I asked her what on the menu is halal as I had read online that they have halal food. She started yelling at me 'to me chicken is halal, now if you ask me how it's cut, I DON'T KNOW HOW IT'S CUT, I DON'T KNOW IF THEY CUT THE THROAT OR DROWN IT IN WATER - I DON'T KNOW!!!' then the Man next to her asked me where I was from (he had better manners in case of communication though). I kept my calm and said with a smile that we can only ask you guys, and every person can have a different preference. I want to say, if the lady didn't know, it's actually not something to be proud of, let alone yelling at the customer! The restaurant should know what kind of products they are using! She then asked me with a sarcastic face, 'the rice has egg in it, so you're fine with egg? Because some people don't eat egg!!' I told her 'yes, they are vegan - different people have different choices'

I felt intimidated by the ignorant customer service! Although the food is good, people standing for customer service should have decent human manners. They should be open to questions and if don't know, can just say, I can find out for you, rather than judging the customer and yelling at them! An advice to the owner - such manners of workers will prevent customers from coming to your place. PLEASE GIVE THEM...
