My wife and I dined in Sat 1-28-23 @ 530pm. We both ordered the lasagna dinner w/ meatsauce. When the food arrived her portion of lasagna was drastically smaller than mine. Probably half the portion of mine. When we addressed it to waitress she offers to get the cook. Minutes later the MANAGER lol comes over we show him both portions and ask why is hers so small compared to mine. His explanation was ," they are cut equally in the kitchen it may have fallen over ." I stated even it totally fell apart where is the rest , a blind man can see its half of mine. He ask her what she wants, she stated a FULL piece of lasagna. She then shows this MANAGER lol pictures of our previous experience with same items to show just how full the plates were. He says I can't give you any more. In frustration we say ok no problem. We begin to eat food is room temperature no warmth at all. If they were running low on lasagna we could have simply changed our choices . It was easy to see the portion difference. Waitress comes over and says he discounted the meal. He took off a HUGE 10% ...LOL when she only got 50% of her lasagna. NO PROBLEM. Now I know how a small issue like this was treated I will DEFINITELY NOT be having my birthday party here. I wanted to have a birthday party here but that can't happen now. I'll find a better establishment for my 75 guest and I . Definitely will not return to touch of Italy. In a nut shell he seen the difference blew us off . No problem you couldn't sacrifice a 23 piece of lasagna. No problem I understand it's business nothing personal. Really in disbelief he acted like the portion difference was not...
Read moreI cannot attest to the food, but the customer service is horrible. Called in a order to order shrimp tacos (which are on the website menu)...was told we don't have those. So ordered another item on the menu a chicken pasta dish. We get to restaurant to pick up food and waited and waited. Was then told to go see hostess. Stand by hostess stand and waited another 20 minutes, finally spotted hostess standing and talking (she did apologize)...hostess proceed to ask what chicken pasta did u order we do not know which one is yours. After waiting longer they say oh we don't sell that dish??? Wait what???...husband ask to speak to manager, after another 10 minutes, hostess comes back to say "the manager says he can't come talk, its to much going on, give em a drink or money back"...husband flags Adam Miller down (manager) and he proceeds to say " oh we don't have that chicken SALAD thingie or whatever you ordered" ...wait what???...to the order takers defense she did apologize and was new and did not know the full menu yet (which was understandable)...BUT the manager Adam was completely out of line and so disappointing! What kind of management says oh its too much going on can't talk just give them a drink! Did not want a drink, wanted my food that I ordered! Needless to say I will NEVER taste the food due to the rude manner of management! So sad...oh and word of advice for the restaurant, maybe the first thing you need to do is update the online menu, so folks can know what to order, especially if they are hungry and have not...
Read moreJuly 2022: I went here on a Saturday and the spot was "going". Good music being played and beautiful ladies inside. I was not looking, but could clearly see the potential.
Pros: This location is way better than the Shaker Heights location on Chagrin Blvd. This location has more space an estimated 7500 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. The place is super secure with security throughout. Security officers checking people for weapons before they enter is a plus. Grown folks having fun. It's like a 25+ club. All kinds of people were there from all races (mainly Black and Latinx) and different interests. There were some LGBTQ folks sprinkled in the mix. No problems and everyone was having fun. Drinks were a little pricy, but were equally potent.
Cons: The place is packed with people so getting a drink served up quickly was a challenge. It comes with the territory. Parking is a huge challenge. There is a big lot, but it gets filled up really quickly. Some people got creative with the parking. The place is super secure. So much so that multiple police cars are parked and waiting on standby for any junk to pop off. Make sure that you can hold your liquor because you could get a DUI with all those officers out there. I would not recommend that a person goes solo here. I was out with the family, but saw people that I knew in there. I did try any of the food so I cannot speak on it.
Conclusion: Yeah, I will be back. Good spot to recommend for people coming from...
