Scorchers — Restaurant in Bedford Heights

First off I'd like to say the food is always good here and reasonably priced. Service has always been prompt and responsive....but this past Saturday 9/8/19 I placed an order for wings that amounted to 11.29 at the food window and then proceeded to the bar for drinks for my wife and I. This was two separate transactions. I only planned on spending twenty bucks for a quick snack so I only left a tip at the bar which showed up on my mobile app accordingly. Unfortunately the other transaction showed a 16.29 charge whereas a 5.00 tip had been added by I have to assume from the lady who took my order. Usually I zero out the line for tips and write in the total at the bottom. For whatever reason I didn't and left myself open for someone to put in their own tip as they did. I went and spoke to a manager who did retrieve the merchants copy and it showed the 5.00 tip that I hadn't placed there but there was no total at the bottom. I explained to her that whenever I do place a tip or a zero in the tip column I always total my bill . She did refund my 5.00 dollars but I was felt as though it was my fault for not completing the transaction as I explained to her her as I normally do. She never made me feel like a customer who had been cheated and stolen from with a heartfelt apology and just handed me five dollars and walked away. I tried to suggest that she look into this employee to make sure others weren't victims of self imposed tips and I got no response. It'll be awhile before I go there again despite the fact that I've been a customer...

I had an extremely horrible experience at this place. I will never be going here again. I stopped in before my friends funeral to get a drink and bite to eat. I ordered a burger and fries. It was one of the worst tasting burgers I’ve ever eaten. Very greasy and it had awful tasting cheese. I told the waiter I couldn’t eat it and that I would happily pay for my drinks. He got the manager and the manager came over and threw out my burger and proceeded to tell me that hundreds of people love those burgers and that it’s my fault. He literally got so angry It made me feel nervous. I was staying calm and then my friend told him we were dealing with a lot already and about to go to a funeral. He made another rude comment and refused to take the burger off my bill. I was totally blown away. I asked him why he was yelling and being so unprofessional. He told me he would expect nothing less since this was Lorain. Not sure what he meant by that, but I am from Cleveland and eat out at restaurants all the time. I have never experienced such rude, angry and unprofessional behavior. I felt like I was dealing with a 10 year old. Needless to say it was not what I needed before going to my best friends funeral. I do have to say the other bartender was great and accomodating. He did take the burger off and I only paid for my drinks. If the food was good I still wouldn’t go back based on the owners behaviour, but it wasn’t so I will pass this info along for others to decide for themselves if they would want to give their money to very...

I visited this establishment for food around midnight, the website said that it was open till 1am , I attempted to order and was told that the kitchen was closed, however before I could walk away, two half dressed females with their breast half exposed asked if they could place an order, and the same person said to the women " if you're ordering fried food I'll get your order in real quick" , so I guess the kitchen was closed for me because I had money only , however if I was a woman and I was half exposed,I'm sure I would've been able to place an order, morale of the story, if you have money only and you're a guy , you won't be able to get service here on late nights, however Get go will happily accept your money and your business, and it's 2 minutes away !
