Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Bedford

The store is located in downtown Bedford, which is by itself a cool place to explore if you have never done so before. The staff at Rita’s are so nice and patient. The frozen treats and the popcorn are great and the staff will provide you with some samples so you can try a few of them and choose your favorites. The store itself is very cute and the displays are well thought out. Although it can get busy, the store is spacious and it does not feel crowded. As for the products, I recommend the caramel chocolate popcorn and the cotton candy Italian ice....

My 89 year old mother and I were staying at the lovely Chancellor's House B&B in Bedford and she insisted on a chocolate ice cream sundae. I went to Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard shop because it was the closest. Boy did I luck out! Both servers were extremely gracious and patient trying to discern my order. They led me through a myriad of flavors and toppings for both our orders. The result was my mother explaining it was the "absolute best sundae I've ever had in my life!" My cookies and cream custard was also delish....

No way to fix a sweet tooth or the doldrums on a hot day better than going to Rita’s and getting some Italian ice or a refreshing ice cream cone. There’s more treats in the store! Handmade Chocolate candy and popcorn of all flavors are just some of the reasons to visit and see it...
