We visited the Bedford Pa fall festival. It was great. There’s so many things to see. Many venders were set up showing their crafts to sale. I bought several things for the holidays. It’s a good experience and I hope to return in 23. There’s a craft beer place at the museum which is very interesting. Go if you ever get an opportunity.

The Fort Bedford Museum should be part one of your day of history in Bedford PA! Part two is Old Bedford Village. Back to the fort. While not the original fort, your mind will be blown at all of the history packed into this hidden gem! It is set right along the Juniata River near a beautiful park.

I visited Fort Bedford Museum in August of 2020. Yes, it took me a while to write a review, but just started writing them a few months ago. Fort Bedford is a very nice place to visit and learn about Historic Bedford during the French and Indian War. Highly recommended.

We were greeted upon entering the door by Rick making us feel so welcome we introduced ourselves to each other. Rick gave us an eloquent overview of the Fort Bedford era. There was also a Historian there that had been part of the original opening of the museum and had personally retrieved many of the artifacts displayed. We were fortunate to meet him . He truly is one of Bedford’s treasures. I was surprised at what you learn and see is bigger than it looks from...

Well developed and maintained local revolutionary war period museum. Addresses the history of the Bedford area back to end of the last ice age. Displays include native American artifacts dating back thousands of years, early 20th century local transportation, and lots of regional historical maps and 19th century kitchen items. Active military are free. It takes about 60-90 minutes to...
