We were super excited about lunching here after reading the menu online. The gentleman serving the wine and beer was very friendly, and the ordering process was smooth. We had great seats viewing the street. This place has a great ambiance! But, here's where the excitement ended. After waiting 30 minutes for our food and watching 2 couples who came in after us receive their meals, my wife went to the counter to ask if there was a problem. The young women behind the counter ignored her at first, then basically said their wifi was down and the kitchen didn't get your order. Eventually, our food came out. The soup was warm at best, and one of my lamb meatballs was burnt on the bottom. So, here's my suggestion to the owner (maybe the wine server). Retrain your aloof counter girls so they stop looking through your customers and start looking at them like a source of revenue and an opportunity to serve. And BTW, we spent $65 for lunch in Bedford, PA, on a Tuesday. But maybe that's normal...
Read moreFood was good, however, the owner of the store went on a shopping spree with my credit card after my visit. He bought $179 worth of wine at his own shop and then went to buy meat and other supplies for his business elsewhere. I noticed my wallet was missing after going to the bathroom so my wife paid for our meal. A day later purchases started popping up on the credit card. We called LIFeSTYLE and they said "someone" bought a bunch of wine. The owner told the cops some lady bought a bunch of wine and then he proceeded to use my credit card at other shops because he thought it was his credit card. He told the police he'd only seen a credit card in his cash register the first time they spoke with him. Next time he acknowledged they had seen the whole wallet. Even after admitting to using my credit card for his own purchases there was never an attempt to contact me to reconcile. Pretty lousy. Posting this review so it doesn't happen to others. Screen shot of his purchases on my...
Read moreWhile at the Omni spa, I sampled their green juice which was delicious and inspired my visit to the actual store. However, I was unpleasantly surprised. FYI- the French toast is actually a slice of Christmas fruit cake with a cooked egg on top. It was so disgusting and pitiful I threw it in the trash before I drove off. The iced chai with oat milk was one of the worst chai’s I’ve ever had in life. Even the coveted green juice, did not taste the same as the spa’s. I suspect they need to retrain or rehire their baristas. The only 5 star item was the wild boar chili! It was one of the best chili’s I’ve had. The cute plants and ambiance is very relaxing, but the food & drinks leave much...
