Bad Boyz Bistro — Restaurant in Bedford

We would never go back there again if we were in the area. We were staying in town for one night and saw this place was open for another hour. We went in and confirmed that they were still open to order food. The gal said yes but only in the front part of the restaurant as the bar area was closed down. That's fine. So a guy comes and seems super annoyed with us and takes our drink order. My husband goes to the restroom. The server comes back and asks if we are ready to order. I said we can order when my husband gets back. The server, again super annoyed, was like, "Well do you know how long he is going to be because you need to get your order in right away" Confused and and surprised I replied, "How long in the bathroom? I'm sure he will be back in a minute" And once again the annoyed server told me that we need to hurry and put the order in. And then I confirmed again that the kitchen is in fact open and then I straight out asked him if he was annoyed with us. He denied that of course. My husband came back and we put our order in. I ordered wonton tacos. When we got our food, the tacos were ice cold. Not even warm. Like literally cold to the touch. Now I had to send back my food to have them warmed up. They did come back warmed up and I was hungry and ate them. My husband's food was fine. It appeared that they were annoyed because they probably thought they were getting out early because there weren't any other customers? We didn't walk in 5 minutes before closing. Stopped here with my son on my drive to Cleveland from Baltimore. Saw the website and read the reviews... plus it was a good middle point. I can understand why this place is popular. The menu is eclectic in a good way, the staff is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is local a little hipper than a dive bar setting. If I lived in town I could totally see this being a regular place to eat. We started with pretzel sticks and they were okay. The cheese was very tasty, the mustard overly sweet, and the pretzels were clearly microwaved as they had that wet bottom and started to get harder as they cooled down. As you sit you see dozens of best burger awards and I totally understand why. My mushroom swiss (it had a catchy name but who can remember it) was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. My son's pulled pork and burger was also very tasty but significantly over cooked. I would have give this 4 starts except the onion rings were very greasy and the french fries were awful. I asked for crispy fries and they were cold, not well cooked or seasoned, and while crispy... I think it was more because they were fried bad than anything else. All in all if I was making this drive again, I would certainly consider stopping here once more and giving them...

We went with a party of 6 on Sunday at 6pm. Right away started striking out with our order. Appetizers ordered “Rat Pack” sampler, but they were out of zucchini & Nachos but asked for jalapeños on the side- never received them. Next up for our entrees, Caesar Salad (but then come back to say they were out of lettuce), Cincinnati Chili Mac topped with onion & cheese. I think that they put cold chili on warm noodles & expected it somehow to warm the chili. Most of the cheese did not even melt. Next Italian Stallion & Napoleon, but they were out of hoagie rolls, so they asked if Texas Toast was ok. Napoleon meat was served cold on Texas bread- not toasted. Also ordered a Cuban panini and a Folsom Prison Hamburger … the Burger & Stallion were cancelled when we waited 15 mins after the other subpar meals arrived. Offered extra onion rings to sub for missing zucchini & ordered a 2nd beer and both were never delivered. Oh yeah, also all draft beer was unavailable because lines weren’t working. What a mess! Waitress said next food delivery was on Wed- good luck to diners on Monday & Tuesday. After we cancelled the 2 entrees, our very young waitress was upset and did properly adjust the bill, but no manager or anyone else came to check on us...
