Completely unacceptable and I doubt I will come here again. I shall demonstrate my stance with a story. I waited over 8 minutes, I went outside for a phone call, and came back to my smoothie still not being made. I gave the benefit of the doubt, thinking that they may have seen me go outside and waited: after all, a smoothie takes only a few seconds to make. After waiting about a minute, where the cashier stared blankly into space and the other worker milled around in an attempt to look productive, though he only moved two receipts a distance of 2.3 centimeters, I finally asked what was taking so long for my smoothie. The cashier gave me a blank stare, not even registering the fact that she had rung me up only a few minutes prior, while the other worker was completely confounded. He looked at the strawberry smoothie that had been sitting on the coffee maker since I walked in and asked if that was mine. When I told him no, he only became more flustered and milled around for a few moments, shifted the receipts again, then finally asked what I had ordered. The cashier still had not moved at this point, not even turned her head. Maybe she was on a depressant of some sort, she certainly didn't seem to have an intellectual disability aside from the inability to respond to a situation or offer any help. After 20 seconds, I told you smoothies don't take long, I finally had my blueberry pomegranate smoothie and an unintended addition of annoyance. It had only taken two workers, in an empty store, 13 minutes to provide me with my order of a medium smoothie.

I went in today for my lunch only had 30 mins went in and there was barely any people then I placed my order on the kiosk and it didn’t even give me a receipt and people started coming in which keep in mind I already had order my food. I used my app to get free medium fries with the purchase of $1 and when they redeemed my code I got a check mark on my app that it was redeemed successfully yet on the McDonald’s cashier it would not go through as it would say the code was already redeemed. I explained to the manager that I had not redeemed the code if not it would not go through on my app but she still kept saying that because her cashier said it did then she would believe that. I told her if I can speak to a manager and she said she was the “manager” which was funny because she ended up calling someone about my situation in Spanish. (I thought you were the manager ? ) I don’t think she knew I speak Spanish so told her that was she was telling the person on the phone was false because I had not redeemed the code elsewhere. Long story short, it was probably a glitch in her cashier and instead of honoring the code she told me AS A FAVOR she would give me free small fries. That was such a slap to the face as at the end of the day I would have preferred for her not just not give me any fries than thinking she was the one doing ME the favor of giving me small fries. I ended up going to the whataburger right in front. As management myself you should never take up a huge amount of time arguing with the customer. For fries???
