ThunderCloud Subs — Restaurant in Bee Cave

Went with the family (2 adults 2 kids) for some sandwiches. We were the only people in the whole place besides a couple who had already finished eating. Two teenage guys were running the whole place. We ordered two kid's turkey w/ cheese and two California clubs. One person helped us while the other played on his phone in the back. He made the kids sandwiches first. We then asked for ours and he mentioned the whole wheat bread was frozen and asked us if that was ok. I'm not sure who eats sandwiches with frozen bread. He had just made our kids' sandwiches with the whole wheat so I was kind of ticked that he hadn't told us before he made theirs which they were already eating. We got white bread instead. He then mentioned they were out of avocado and asked if that was ok. I asked if they had guacamole or something else instead. He replied that guac was the same thing as avocado. The guy behind us walked out after calling his wife and letting her know there was no avocado. This place is literally in the parking lot of HEB. It seems like someone could walk over and buy a couple avocados rather than charge full price for a sandwich without all the ingredients. I think there's laws against youngsters running kitchens solo.. I guess they must be at least 18 or someone older was hiding...

Me and a few of my co-workers unfortunately go to this location regularly do to them being very close to were we work... I've never been impressed by thundercloud sandwiches but I don't expect much because they're cheap (this is not my complaint) my complaint is the customer service at this location... There is one employee in particular, im not sure of his name but he's a short sawed off fat sweaty fella who has one of the worst attitudes I've ever encountered. He Huff's and puffs at every order placed and acts as if everyone is the bane of his existence. For example once I was paying with a debit card and he asked in a very loud rude manner if it actually had money on it and if it would work this time... My card has NEVER been declined here!!! I will never return after the attitude he presented today... All the other employees seem pleasant and I feel bad that they have to deal with this a-hole on...

Gratitude for very kind people in this mean ole World. I was met with grace and kindness when I accidently ordered form Westlake location instead of Bee Caves..WOW. On a rough Thursday at work, all I wanted to do is eat lunch and regroup.... Once I realized I ordered wrong location, I was expecting to have to drive over to Westlake and pick up my order. I was informed to please stay and they would honor the order there. Made fresh, so delicious...the most tasty, made with love meatball sub I have ever had form TC.
