Kinda disappointed in the service here. My friend and I have ordered Jersey Mike’s on Door Dash once before and we loved it. I was in the area so I decided to pick us up an order on my way to her house. I specified this was my first time ordering in store, and while the staff was kind, my friend’s order was wrong.
Since I hadn’t been inside to order before, I started reading the order off and was told that she wouldn’t remember all of that and to tell the employee at the other end of the counter. After realizing it’s the subway/chipotle way of ordering, I ordered what I wanted and moved to the other end of the counter.
Once I got to the other end of the counter I specified my friend wanted the Italian sub Mike’s way, with mayo, banana peppers, and light mustard. Me being unaware of what “mike’s way” is, I couldn’t have known that it was supposed to come with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar, and spices. But I was sure to ask again once I reached the end of the counter. A miscommunication for sure, could’ve been misheard. But with me specifying it was my first time ordering in store I feel the employees could’ve been more attentive.
My buffalo chicken sub tasted good. I was a little confused as to why it didn’t come cut in half when the other sub did.
I guess we’ll all take this as more of a learning experience if we decide to try to order in...
Read moreFirst time at this Bel-Air location, but as soon as I told the young very young man making my sandwich it was my free birthday sub immediately look down his nose at me and made me a turkey club hero with about a eighth of an inch of meat on it on a piece of bread that was about 5 in long and it was sitting on the counter when I got there.
I subsequently watched him make several of the sandwiches after mine and they all had about a half inch to 3/4 of an inch of meat on it meanwhile on mine it was barely discernible that there was any meat on it and I don't know if it was coming out of his pocket or what but the sandwich sucked.
Tasted good as the cold cuts are of mid quality and usually A step above subway, but even Subway puts more meat on their sandwiches and they're called salad on a roll for a reason.
I've been to the location in Timonium and they put a very generous amount of meat on it but this young man just seemed irritated that I was getting a free sub for bmy birthday and I eat at Jersey Mike's quite frequently, but not at this...
Read moreThis JM location is high on friendliness and food quality but low on speed and attentiveness.
As an out of state resident it has been difficult to adjust to the slower pace of local life; driving, checkout lines, talking. Eventually I’ve gotten used to it but I’m still not ok with it.
I’ve been here occasionally and understand how they serve customers - be friendly and polite. That’s very nice. But when the undecided customers in front of me stall the line, please address a waiting customer.
I stood there for five minutes before anyone asked if they could help me. Folks - please get the line moving, it was a non-commitment from staff to make it a poor experience on my end.
It’s obvious the staff wants to make guests feel welcome and enjoy their food. They looked like a good group of young people. I appreciate that. Yet, I’m disappointed by the simple acknowledgement of staff by just asking “can I help you?” much longer...
