So awhile ago I greatly scaled back my visits to this location because they had gone downhill and there seemed to be a general air of disinterest in the staff. Tonight my hubby called on his way home from a late night at work and asked me if if wanted anything from here. I am sick as a dog with the flu so easy works and it's been awhile, maybe they've turned things back around. Yes, please, I would like 3 things of guacamole (they're small and I eat a LOT of guac, lol) and a bag of chips. The nastiness they sent home with him was only exceeded by their nastiness when I returned it to them. Two of the 3 containers were brown, the been sitting in the fridge for a couple days kind of brown. First, I called and immediately was put on hold. I decided to return the containers so they could see what I was complaining about. I asked them if that was what they thought was a good representation of their restaurant or if they'd want to eat it looking like that. The smartmouth behind the counter proceeded to berate me, telling me all avocados turn brown when air gets to them. This is true, no lie, but it doesn't happen as fast as she'd have liked me to believe. It just got worse from there. The customer service was so bad I left with the spoiled guacamole because I am of the mind if you want to share that much nastiness I can help share it for you. I wouldn't feel right leaving a bad review if they made it right but since they didn't feel there was anything wrong I don't feel there's anything wrong with forewarning others. I would starve to death before I return to this location. Oh, two small side notes. 1) I finally disconnected the call once I started talking to them at the location. I had been on hold for over 10 minutes, the one girl looked surprised when I called them out on it, the other girls response was "Oh, my bad. Sorry about that." 2) As soon as I came home and shared with my hubby how well the visit went he knew immediately who I was talking about and mentioned how horrible her attitude was when he was there. We at least got a laugh...
Read moreFirst and foremost, this review has NOTHING to do with Qdoba's delicious food. I love their food. I've always loved their food. The single star is solely because off the service and the fact that zero isn't an option. I have had the misfortune of eating at the Bel Air Qdoba on a few occasions. Sadly, it's the only one close to me and again, love the food. However, this time was SO bad that I felt I needed to share. My partner and I always order the nachos with the chips on the side. This is a common thing done at all Qdoba restaurants. When we arrived, we were informed that the restaurant would be closing in 90 minutes, which is ample time to eat. The children who worked at Qdoba seemed very upset at the fact that people had come to eat at 6pm, which seems to be a rather common dinner time IMO. We explained what we wanted and the girl preparing the food paused her personal conversation just long enough to hear us. Throughout the entire ordering process we had to repeat what we wanted in the nachos, otherwise we wouldn't have gotten in. But, we did find out how much the one kid can bench, so that's cool. When we were finished and paying we were handed a single bag of chips for our two orders. When I asked for a second bag I received push back. We ordered 2 nachos, so 2 bags of chips seems reasonable. However, the attitude recieved would make you believe this kid had to pay for them out of his own pocket. Long story short, if you love Qdoba you'll have to deal with their...
Read moreWent to get dinner for my family and was standing on line watching the staff and how dirty the place was in the sitting area. Got up there to order my food and the kid that was starting our food wasn't even paying attention to what i was ordering not to mention messed it all up. The white rice was pretty much gone and he is digging at the bottom of the container. So he gave us dried up gross rice and hus friends came in so he really wasn't paying attention to what he was doing and he didn't make my sons quesadilla and he moved onto the next person when he didn't even finish my food. Also the next person to touch our food took a bar mop and wiped down the counter wiping all the dirty stuff back into the food bins. Talk about contamination. Then i told that person they didn't make my sons quesadilla and they looked at me like well is he making it. Well it sure doesn't look like it. I was so irritated and grossed out i left the store. I did not and will never purchase anything from here again and i will tell other people. Thanks for the rude and gross service. Very disappointed. I didn't even want to give one star but it wouldn't let me post...
