Very bad experience. Staff had a lot of trouble figuring out how to place the order (it was not complicated); staff uncertain of their own inventory; staff not responsive to customers; food not correctly prepared (oatmeal delivered without toppings); coffee not correctly prepared (latte was half-full, per photo); trash cans overflowing. No creamer at bar--usually no big deal but it took seven minutes to get it refilled after I took it to the bar (yes, at this point I was timing things--habit from having worked previously as a "mystery shopper"), during which time the empty container was immediately acknowledged and then ignored while I was standing there for three minutes. Then she realized I was still standing there and asked someone else to fill it, who then went in the back room and took four minutes to fill and return the container during which time she was mostly just chatting with another employee. Apparently they think that no one can see them back there even though there is a window set in the door. Four minutes is actually a pretty long time from a customer point of view/experience. Seven overall is pretty ridiculous. Horrible service, staff ignorant of their own products, and just incredibly slow. Not crowded at all during our visit and no line at the drive-through so no excuse there--especially with six people on staff and no more than a half dozen customers in the entire store at any time. You would also think that having access to unlimited caffeine would at least make them a little faster. Oh, and we overheard several other people complaining about them throughout our visit. (We dined in.) We also had an at-length discussion with a very nice couple who come here occasionally and stated that our experience was the norm. This store needs a lot of work by management (or a new manager) to raise its performance level to what is expected by Starbucks customers. Too bad this is the only location with Clover coffees in this area as I will miss the Timor East Peaberry, but there are several local shops in the area with great coffee choices and much better service that I will be patronizing. UPDATE: Finally tried this location again. Still horrendous. Ordered a Xmas blend drip coffee: did not pour it at the end of my order (they are supposed to serve it right away); had to wait 12 minutes to get it; Xmas blend was brewed like mud and tasted horrendous—threw it out. A flat white order came out like an extra foam latte. Ordered a sandwich: 10 minutes later they told me they were out of them. They did manage to serve a bagel and a slice of bread correctly but that was it. Drinks were not always announced just set down with labels facing so no one could see them to figure who they belong to; a few were announced by a barista whose voice did not carry more than three feet; people just had to step up and constantly check what was...
Read moreWalked in to pick up my usual mobile order and was met with a 3/4 full cup.... I asked the girl with short brown hair if that was my order because it looked like someone had drank out of it. I couldn't imagine that was my drink. She proceeds to tell me that it was my drink and that's what it looks like when you order light ice. She said my Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Espresso only gets a splash of milk. This didn't seem right because I order this drink all the time and it never looks the way they made it. So, I asked her if she'd fix it and she said that if I wanted more milk, I would have to order a latte and pay 70 cents more. At that point, I didn't want the drink or to deal with her anymore, so I asked for a refund. Before I realized it she refunded me in cash for the drink! But, I had used 200 stars. The communication and customer service from this individual was so poor, she didn't bother to ask me if I used stars and assumed that I would have to pay 70 cents for the few ounces of milk to fill my cup to the top. What is so ridiculous about this experience is the drink was free; I used stars. All she had to do was put the milk in it. Instead of trying to make me reorder a different drink and trying to charge me for milk in a drink that was already free. After the refund, I spoke to the manager and explained that the drink was free and asked why the employee didn't just put in more milk. She said the employee made the drink to standard and if I didn't like it I could call corporate. Well, I did call corporate and they refunded my stars. So, in the end I got the cost of the drink in cash and my 200 stars back. The store for their poor customer service lost the stars, the cash, and wasted a drink. I wish I had a taken a picture...the drink looked like the pictures of other reviewers that have had the same experience and I also won't be going to this store again. It was a very...
Read moreGave a bad review to the new one, so gotta give credit where due to my faithful one. This location is by far my favorite Starbucks I’ve ever gone to. It’s most generally kept very clean, patrons are nice, staff are friendly, and the manager is awesome (super friendly as well). The interior set up at this location is perfect. It’s not all super small circular tables you can’t do anything at, but nice square ones and a long & large high top. Outlets are accessible almost everywhere. Coffee is always on point. I am a regular here and would always drive the 20 minutes to get my drink from this location. When they were losing my Clover brew machine back in the spring, when they found out - the manager Dawn grabbed me when I came in to break the news to me. She, and her staff, put customers first. That is service. I wish every store could be like this one. No idea if it was luck for the right staff, or if management here is just that phenomenal that it caused a great store , but 👍👍👍👍👍 from me! Also, when I lost my clover machine, they had me try a few different ways they brew the coffee to find my new preferred cup. Awesome. Service. (I went with a pour over by...
