🐶 My favorite in the Bozeman area. Stop here as much as possible. Love this place. Passed it a million times and wondered. Thanks to the nice big signs out front I remembered it was there when I was craving burritos 🌯
The service was way above average. I guess some people might gripe about the language barrier but the awesome lady from the back came out to clear things up if needed. ALL the employees were EXTRA nice and helpful!! Mr Burritos has speed too. This was fast 🏃
The food was phenomenal for us. I loved the yellow 💛 rice in the tacos. Our vegetarian burrito didn't come with cheese and as a foodie I like that because I was able to taste everything individually. Everything was tasty. The prices are a little bit cheaper then Qdoba or Chipotle AND there is even more value. If you want cheese on your veggie taco you can add it for $2.50 and it's already priced low so it doesn't make a huge difference.
A huge part of the value here is the WARM chips AND chip bar!! ...IT GETS BETTER...the salsas are AMAZING 😍. Don't expect your fake %90 vinegar salsas here. They have some regular green and red pepper salsa and of course the other stuff (see picture). THEY ALSO HAVE PICKLED ONIONS and peppers on this bar...am I in hipsterville? So rad 🙏 This is the best part since you can eat while waiting if it's busy.
It's clean 👴 This can be a negative when managers tell their staff to scrub the floor with stinky obnoxiously strong Fabulouso every time someone drops a fry while I'm trying to smell my food (one of my pet peeves) but here they STILL CLEAN but I'm not disgusted...the cleaning supplies don't smell. So win, win. They clean..I can still enjoy my food.
The environment is really solid. There's nice seating in the back, bar seating to look outside, it's colorful and not dull. They get everything right. The Chipotle in Bozeman is cool par-se but literally cool 🥶 because of the stone walls. This is how it should be. Don't need to be pretensious like some stores in Bozeman.
They also have Drive-Thru and lots of solid drinks from Tamarind to Cantaloupe to Horchata and regular sodas and there was even a Huckleberry 🍒 flavor button to add to your Pepsi drinks... although I couldn't get it to work.
Overall this is worth it for the free chip bar alone!! Because everything was so great I went back to buy a FLAN!! I'm not a FLAN expert but this is better than others I've had...oh god it gets better....I started to get cold 🥶 and I was thinking I wish they had coffee and BAM!! Mr. Burritos has coffee brewed. Do you know how many businesses in town don't have coffee brewed when...

There were three guys working behind the counter on what looked like a huge special order of some sort. I stood there patiently because I've been on the other side of the counter and had to deal with that so I know what's up. I waited there right at the counter for about three or four minutes while they went about their business each gesturing to eachother and glancing my way from time to time, but said nothing. Not even a "just a minute please" or anything. Finally one of the guys walked up to the counter and looked at me so I assumed oh sweet he's going to take my order. Nope instead he grabbed something from underneath of the counter rummaged around for a minute and as I said Hi to him thinking that maybe he was just getting something to take my order, he just turned around and walked away without even acknowledging me again. At this point it's just rude like I don't care if I have to wait 10 minutes or whatever, if you guys are busy . That's fine. Just say "hey we'll be with you in a second we just have a big order" but to just come right up make eye contact with somebody and not even acknowledge them at all it's just rude as hell and I won't be coming back. I'll keep my business at el rodeo or los jarochos. If the service is indicative of the food quality, it's...

We arrived around 3-4pm on a Sunday. Most tables/seats were empty. Ordered at the counter and had a seat, when the order was called the worker brought it to us.
The cashier taking our order was juggling the drive-through orders as well as in person orders so she seemed distracted and indifferent. The other workers were warm and friendly.
The chips and salsa station was great. The chips were warmed under a heating lamp and there was a variety of salsa sitting in an ice base to keep them cool my favorite was the pico de gallo and the green chile salsa. There was a red salsa that was particularly fishy that I didn't love, but to each their own. There were also pickled onions and carrots and jalapeños (all very flavorful).
The horchata was nice, very sweet but not as rich as some I've had before. The food was served in five minutes or so after ordering. We ordered a number 9 (carne asada burrito), 15 (conga burrito), and two fish tacos. The burritos were filling and there was alot of meat and toppings, but the meat was on the rough side. The conga burrito was pretty dry and needed some pico heaped ontop. The fish was crispy and battered but lacked much flavor.
Overall I wouldn't mind stopping by again for a quick bite but it isn't...
