I've heard so much about this place. My son had went here a few times 3-4 years ago and said the burgers were good and big. We've tried several times since and they were closed. Well we got the chance to go on 8/29/23 and they were open . I don't know where all hype about this place comes from !! 🥴 We looked at the menu on line before hand and when we got up to order prices were up by $1-2 . The burgers were basically a 5/1 pattie. The 1/2 pound burger with 2 patties came with one, order the works for toppings and only got major ketchup, mustard, 2 pickles and a mound of shredded lettuce in bottom of box which the burger was placed on, had to add it on burger myself . The sweet potato fries were a mere handfulfull laden with salt for $5.25 😳 the regular fries were loaded with salt 🧂 as well, over cooked and soggy. Asked for an order of waffle fries, never even put in order. The cheese was extra, ranch and ketchup were extra 😳 wanted this place to be good but was basically low grade McDonald's food with fancy price !! 🤯 A 2 maybe 3 bites burger 🍔🍟 Don't know if it was a bad day, lack of workers or right at closing time?? A Business should treat their last customers like their first so their not their last !!!! Perhaps in the future and better management I may stop again, until then I'll stick with 5 Guys Burgers !! Sorry Best...
Read moreI've been here a couple of times and the overall experience is meh. The hamburger would be easy enough to make it home using store-bought patties and basic white hamburger buns. Unless I'm missing something, there was nothing that stood out to me. The french fries were a bit on the soggy side but the fry sauce was good. I got a chocolate shake. It was okay. At the time there was no indoor seating. They do have a lot of picnic benches to eat on which was really nice. There are only five or six parking spots so you might need to get lucky to park and use them. The drive-thru and parking is tight and a bit awkward to navigate. The person in front of me had to do a quick reverse and realign to get around the tight corner. The outside just had a small, burger shack/barn type of vibe. Trash on the ground and unkept bushes. These are all fairly nitpicky things. If you're looking for a good handmade, feels-like-home burger, for around that $5 price point, this is it. Other people must like it just fine because there's always a line! Oh, and there are about a dozen signs posted that 7:30 is the last order taken. No exceptions. I guess they don't want you to forget it! I will admit that it is in a convenient place and a convenient drive-thru in four corners. I can't think of a better fast(ish) food alternative in the...
Read moreThis place has actually been better since it was sold. They still have the exact same burgers, fries, & shakes but the hours have expanded and they seem to be more top of it as the line goes faster then before. My one complaint is the outdated speaker and the horrible drive through lane. This small lane with the obstructions make it difficult for vehicles that have bad turning, made worse by 4X4 for the ice & snow. I would hope that upgrading this speaker system that was probably from when it first opened in the 80's. It's often difficult to hear what's being ordered and you have to repeat your self. I also hate how you have to pull out onto Huffines or try to go back around the building to get through to pull out on the other side. They should put cones or barricades to push the drive through lines up closer to the building so this path is not blocked which causes cars trying to go that way to be stuck in a line they are not needing to be in and this pushes cars back into the street sometimes or even backs up traffic on Huffines with cars stuck behind someone waiting for the line to move so they can pull in. The food & employees are great, my biggest complaint is the traffic created as a result of the drive through lines but the burgers, fries, & shakes are worth the wait or so many would not be sitting in line...
