I don't even want to dock a star because their pizza is delicious when it is done right and I also know the owner is a nice guy with a lot of experience and it is hard to find good help. So if I could leave a separate review for owners and workers I have to be honest the worker review would have been 1 star today. They brought out a pizza where the crust was almost completely raw dough under the surface to the point it looked the same as the melted cheese so we took it back and the waitress just asked if we wanted it put back in. That's it. I would not be asking, I'd be offering to make a new one or at minimum put it back in which we would be more than happy with if it was offered without attitude. Then it was brought out a few minutes later and we were told with another good dose of attitude by another girl who worked in the kitchen that they "put it back in for like 2 minutes" like we could know if that's good enough. I'll give ya this, it seems like this is far from the only pizza place in town that has a tough time getting the cooks to cook rhe pizza long enough. We then told her we font know we just want it to be done and she said in a rude way to just let her know if I needs more time or something. Mistakes happen. That's completely okay. But to the workers: just own up to them and fix it with a good attitude so your customer doesn't pay almost $30 for a pizza that's uncooked and that they now have to worry might have been tampered with by the bitter employee who is so annoyed that we are askingfor a fully cooked pizza. That's all. Still fantastic pizza when it's done. I feel for the situation because it's hard to get employees to care like an owner does about the execution and customer service so hopefully this review at least just sheds some light on the need for some new employees...
Read moreTonight (04/22/2023) My husband and I went to The Buck. We planned to just call in and pick up but the phone kept beeping busy so we decided to dine in. We typically go every Friday but couldn't this week so we went today (Saturday) When we arrived it seemed as normal until we got to the register. The vibe felt off and we waited for quite some time as the same 3 employees kept passing by not even acknowledging us. We ordered our normal order and as we were wrapping up we heard 2 employee's discussing how they were now going to turn the phones back on.... Makes sense why I couldn't get through earlier and seems like a poor business choice to have turned them off but whatever. I get my salad and it's wrong. I have to go back up and notify them (not an end of the world issue we are all human). Our pizza comes out (nice and hot) we tell the young man ohh we have also ordered sides of ranch with it. Well of course he never heard us (or chose not to) because he has ear buds in. Extremally frustrated at this point because I feel every step of our order I've had to baby sit. We decide to get a box and leave and enjoy in our own home. If you feel like giving poor service maybe leave your phones on so people can just do take out so we (the customer) don't have to...

We've never eaten here before. We wanted to place an order for pick up and called them. The prepubescent girl on the phone didn't have a clue on how to do her job efficiently. So we helped her with our order, nothing crazy....just a pizza and wings. Easy right? Yeah. No. Not so much. So we walked her through it and after we got our total, we asked where they were located and she said "behind the gas station" we asked which one due to there being 3 at the intersection. The north one, south one or southeast? She said "I don't know, the gas station". We said we would just Google it and she instructed us that our food would be ready in 20 minutes. We thanked her for her time and disconnected the line.
After waiting for 20 minutes, my boyfriend went to pick it up. He called me and said they didn't have an order for us!? We then had to reorder and wait another 20 minutes.
Management staff, please have an adult take the orders or train the child to do her job correctly and efficiently. Had I requested a delivery, would we have gone through the same thing? This is embarrassing for your establishment.
My rating is based only off the customer service. I haven't even tried...
