I've come to this bar every since I moved here almost 8 years ago and never had any issues and I can promise that most of the older gentlemen and most of the other employees that frequent this bar will vouch that I'm always respectful and easy going and I'm sure that if I was able to get the records of every time I've been there, I've alway been more than adequate with my tips and I always tipped cash with the casino so I've been very generous with the ladies that work there. I've also known your security and a fair amount of the cooks and I've sent them money for their work along with buying them pitchers for when they get off. Unfortunately there's a strong headed feminist named Bailey that likes to hold grudges and be disrespectful along with sub par attentiveness. 2 years ago in summer we had a heated discussion because I asked why no men worked there and it got to the point where she took it as me talking down about women and apparently still remembered it today as me saying we don't need women. To which initially I said that I didn't interpret it the same way but I'm just here at 12:30 to get food. After she had already told me she wasn't sure if she was comfortable serving me because of a situation that happened "last summer" (and I checked my records today and I haven't been to the establishment anytime last year during summer) that she told me was definitely last summer I said I'm happy to leave if she doesn't want to serve me. She decided to ask me what I'd like. She gave me a beer and I sat there for 10 minutes waiting for a menu but never got one because she would never make eye contact or acknowledge the one thing I said I was there for. FOOD! So I left 80% of a beer and put a dollar on the bar for the 2 sips I took in 10 minutes. This is the only person who I've ever had any issues with as far as I'm concerned and if she works there I have no interest in coming back. I'd like to point out that the day 2 years ago when she was upset about a male/female discussion where I was drinking as a patron, she was hammered on the porch where she was working, which probably led to her meltdown. If your employees can't handle their alcohol they probably shouldn't work there. Everyone else can from what I've seen but this one is a basket case. The rest of your staff is always attentive, polite and fun but this "agenda feminist" really needs to think about how she treats people who want to spend money with your...
Read moreI have eaten here many times in the last 4 years that I have worked in Four Corners. I ate there today and I have never had such an uncomfortable dining experience. I was treated very, very poorly by the cooks. I ordered the fish sandwich. On their menu, every sandwich they have specifies what kind of cheese comes with it. For the fish sandwich, no cheese was mentioned. So I assumed (shame on me) that there wasn't any cheese on the sandwich. The sandwich came and it had melted American cheese on it. I have a dietary issue with cheese and I cannot eat it, per expensive doctor's orders. Upon discovery of the cheese I immediately returned it to the waitress and explained that I didn't realize that the sandwich had cheese on it and asked if I could get a new one. I was even prepared to pay for both. I went and sat back down at my booth that was positioned right next to the kitchen window. Moments later a cooked started mockingly complaining about the "btch who can't have cheese". I let that one go. Then when the sandwich was ready, the cooked called to his waitress "the dumb btch’s sandwich is ready, WITHOUT CHEESE! hardy har har." My dining partner could not let that one go and let the cooks know that we could hear every word that they were saying. The waitress told the cooks to keep it down but it didn't seem to matter anymore. The cook starred at us the whole time we finished eating, very uncomfortable. Needless to say I had already lost my appetite and the trust that my food was not tampered with. In this economy, that is no way to treat a repeat customer or let your staff shoot off at the mouth. There are plenty of people out there that need jobs that will respect the establishment they are...
Read moreFood was good. However, this was the worst service ever. I wish I would have checked reviews before going as the poor service seems to be a very common theme. The staff here were extremely rude and acted as if everything was an inconvenience to them. The waitress that served our table had a terrible attitude. This restaurant was very loud (it is a bar). The waitress told one side of our table (6 top) about the specials. When she came back with drinks, a member of our group asked the waitress about the specials (2 different steaks with 2 different prices). Her response, rather than repeat the specials, was "I just told you what they were". Nothing further. Multiple tables seated after us, received their food before we did. I was never asked if I needed another drink and the waitress didn't check on us at all after our food was delivered. Then, we went into the "casino" portion of the establishment and were criticized by the employees simply for being "not from around here". To top it off, a customer rudely asked us to move, intentionally bumped into one of the people in our group and then proceeded to laugh with a server about the interaction. I would presume that she was a "local". If you want to be treated poorly simply because you are traveling and not from the area, maybe this is a place for you. What a poor representation for an area with frequent tourists and other people...
