Pho waffle and grill — Restaurant in Bell Gardens

Wife and I were looking for a new pho place since our usual spot closed down. There was about 15 of them in driving distance to us. This place was one of the furthest from us but it had an almost perfect rating, so we had to give it a try. I'm super picky when it comes to flavor and spices so I was totally prepared to season the crap out of my pho (spicy chicken). I had one serving and I quickly learned I didn't need to add anything. This was seasoned to perfection. The service from mom and daughter was excellent. Super friendly and helpful. Being our first time there, they were extra patient with all of our questions. The place looks like a hole in the wall and there is no real parking available so we went thru the drive thru. My wife loved hers too (regular chicken pho). The lady at the front register accused me of putting a black hair in my food when I brought her my pho. Even though I clearly showed her my hair is NOT black. I no longer have the picture of the black hair in my camera roll. But I did go in to order again and she dismissed me and said that every time I order food I’ve had a black hair in it. However, I only brought it to her attention once via phone and via drive thru. I never once complained about it to anyone else. I don’t think it’s fair to dismiss your customer when they merely brought it to the owners attention. I won’t be going back. The short version: Hole in the wall joint for which I had high hopes. Food was good, but overpriced and they charge $1 for using a credit card and there is no bathroom.

On arrival, I discovered there was no parking. It is fairly clean inside, but small, and they just have a fan blowing on high, but it doesn't feel like the ac is working. The menu prices are higher than what is pictured on Google maps and they no longer include a free waffle which was part of the reason for wanting to check this place out (they covered up the part that said free waffle with vegetable, which already came with the dish).
