Golden Bowl — Restaurant in South Gate

Not the place it used to be. This was one of my favorite teriyaki chicken restaurants but OMG!! What happened to you guys? Went in there today, I wanted a medium chicken veggie and the girl tells me the medium bowl doesn’t come with vegetables, only rice and chicken. So she offered me a bigger bowl that does come with vegetables, but she clarifies that that bowl doesn’t come with rice, only chicken and vegetables. So I’m like OK. I ended up getting me just a medium chicken with rice. My husband got himself a large chicken and meat with rice. The meat was disgusting, too hard. We ended up paying $63 bucks for 2 medium chicken bowls, a large chicken and meat plate, a side of chicken and an order of medium fries that were not even given to us. I’ve been coming here for years and honestly tonight is most likely the last time i’m going to come back. It was 9pm and I understand the workers are tired and all but closing time does say 10pm, leaving an hour for closing, but most of the employees were packing up all the sauces and chairs getting ready to go so that no one can sit down to eat. Once we got our food, we noticed that the cooks were such in a rush that the chicken was undercooked and still pink. Then when we decided to eat one of the female employees decides to clean the table next to us and she sprayed a lot of the cleaning product and it almost got into our food too , very disappointing.
