only been at night and always a good experience even when itās packed! I go out of my way to see movies here when I live next to a theater in uptown Whittier that charges $5..I purchased the unlimited plan & Let me tell you the staff during the day needs training. first incident I went to grab a refill and the ticket guy seen me and nodded on my way to concessions, walking back he asks to see my ticket..clearly saw me come out of theater with cup but I digress, juggling a popcorn and icee just to get to my phone the ticket disappeared and I was refused entry.. went to previous orders showed him ⦠no apology just rolled his eyes..next time I wanted to use my rewards so I asked about the upgrade option since Im broke was charged more than the amount,I wasnāt mad just confused and the manager right away comes in heavy with attitude and says Iām wrong and itās my loss, I just walked away late to a movie that had already started empty handedā¦today I was to mee friends to see Jurassic Park in 3D, I arrive to meet them about 7 minutes late so I walk through the front, go to the ticket taker and scan my phone and I ask where to pick up the 3D glasses he pointed over to the purchasing booth.. I walk over and in my mind they are just cheap plastic 3D glasses that are disposable, and when I ask the girl she said okay and then went to help the next guests and the man working next to her I assume is the manager so Iām guessing sheās waiting to ask him where the glasses are since he was busy as well with customers.. about 8 minutes go by then they ask to see my ticket and ID to which I replied I already scanned my ticket I just need the glasses and the man all flustered walked over as if he already had enough and asked again for ticket and ID⦠cool for the movieā to which both of them looked up at me with the dirtiest look that spoke many meanings, to which I said ā no Iām serious I didnāt think they were that big i assumed cheap disposable pair in a plastic bag?ā the man did a head shake and ātssstā they need older staff because they are all young teenagers and they donāt seem to have common courtesy Iām at the point where Iām just canceling and going to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAverage experience. The location is grate...enough parking space. The welcoming as you enter the theater is nice. The out side look is nice it gets your attention but the inside look I think is outdated. As you enter there are two game spots for you to entertain your self while waiting for a movie to start. Food court is very slow eventhough there are two food courts, the times I have been here the second food court is always close. I have no idea why but having both spots open so people can get their food, drinks and snacks faster would be great since they take for ever with the food orders and employees have no training whatsoever. You are standing right at one of the hallways waiting for you food and you don't know whose giving it to you. I used to see only two employees in the food court and a bunch of employees just walking around with their radios in hand doing nothing. The auditoriums have an okay size but the seats need a deep cleaning specially with bed bugs being found in some movie theaters now a days even though they are following health procedures guidelines. It would be a great experience if movie theaters owners would take the care an time to train their employees an care about us as well since we are the ones spending our money there to have an excellent experience from the moment we stepped in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAvoid at all cost if youāre looking for a family night. Recently purchased tickets for myself and my partner. The excitement ended the min we open the main doors. Loud, very dirty, tons of people packed like sardines into a small lobby. A man walking around yelling popcorn, soda! Get ready to wait 30 minutes in a line for a very very limit menu of soda, popcorn thatās literally it. Making your way to your theater you will encounter only one employee. The seats are very very old (heads up) Three young men decided to sit next to us. I over hear them laughing and saying these seats arenāt paid for yet weāre good (they snuck in) The guy directly next to me (does some push ups!? Because thatās normal) all three proceed to vape/play on his phone through the previews. I asked them not to vape (even saying please) I stated that my partner is pregnant. At this point he decides to speak Russian to his friends becoming very hostile wanting to fight. Long story short .. I had to walk all the way across the theater to find ANY! employee, let alone security to help me (confrontation is now over 15 minutes).. so if you value safety and loved ones .. I wouldnāt give them my business. Sincerely...
