Boba Loca — Restaurant in Bell

I've gone to this place for many years and never had an issue. I was craving boback and made the drive down there with my sister and the two girls seems friendly at first. I asked for 2 taro slush with boba and she corrected me, or so she thought. She said, "you mean tapioca?" I said, yes. I got 3 pretzels and my total was about $19. My sister decided to get 2 Pizza pretzels as well. We waited for our orders and they handed me the 3 pretzels in a bag and we waited for the drinks. She looked confused, checked the register, whinspired at the other girl and started laughing, then looked at me. When she handed me the drinks, I poked through mine, sipped it and realized she made the wrong drink. I asked her what drink she handed me and she told me, you wanted tapioca. I told her tapioca was boba and I had asked for taro and she said, "oh, you wanted the purple drink right?" And I said yes. She walked away with a snooty attitude after that. When my sisters pretzels were done, she threw them on the counter, without a bag and walked away. One nearly slipped out the paper holder and the other was touching the counter. When the drinks were re-done, she shoved those onto the counter and walked away. I didn't even get to ask what I should do with the wrong drinks because they wouldn't even speak to us after I asked to get the drinks I paid for. My sister peeked at her pretzels and asked if those were Pizza ones and from far she said they were. We still said thank you and they both ignored us. When we got home and handed the pretzels out, my daughters Pizza pretzels was over done, it dried up from the inside and it didn't taste good. My sister gave my mom hers and started eating hers, one was cream cheese and the other was pizza. Horrible service from those two dumbasses...

I enjoy the drinks at bobaloca, they are simple and always taste fine. The store itself is nice and convenient since it’s never packed, the seating makes for a nice spot to sit and chat for a long while, and it helps that there aren’t many other boba options around here. BobaLoca is a good go to☺️.

Unfortunately, I am rating this location 3⭐️s because I recommended the place to a few friends to hang out today and there was a rat running around! It was embarrassing but even more disgusting. A lot of families come here with their little ones and now I feel that it’s unsanitary. The drinks were good but I feel horrible for recommending the location to my friends 😢.

I hope the owner here can take the initiative to clean the tables more frequently and educate their employees on maintaining a sanitary...

Love this place but my baby got the short end of the stick today. She ordered a birthday cake macaroon and tried it and wasn't a fun. She took one bite and decided to let the girl know she didn't like it and wanted to know if she could try another one the girl told her no because she bit it.

I get it... but my kid got stuck with something she didn't like. I'll have to find another place to go only because they're not too flexible on trying to help the customers try new things n my babies are kinda young so i need the flexibility for them so they can try things and learn what they like.

I do love this place. Just after today idk of I can come back with the little ones.

The taro slush with extra Boba is fire...
