First off, I've never eaten inside... the few times I've ordered food from Guadalajara Inn, has always been to go... this afternoon I ordered the following: Birria ($11 - good amount of food, great price), Plate of 6 breaded shrimp ($14 - good amount, ok price), Chille relleno a la carta ($5 - ok size, ok price) and lastly 2 carne asada tacos ($8). When given my ticket to pay, I actually thought the server had charged me for a PLATE of tacos (with rice and beans)... turns out it was JUST 2 tacos!! What??? Who pays $4 for a taco?!? I mean, unless its the king size corn tortilla! But NO this was the regular size corn tortilla. And to top it off, the carne asada was VERY dry, plain, hard and TERRIBLE overall. I'm glad I canceled one of the tacos, but still VERY disappointed that I paid $4 for a taco that nobody ate!! ... oh, also: when you order food to go over the phone, they don't make it until you actually arrive to the restaurant; this can go both ways - PRO because you get your food hot... CON because it defeats the purpose of ordering ahead of time and avoiding the wait 🤔🤔🤔

I've frequented Guadalajara Inn for years and it never disappoints. Some of their dishes transport you straight to Mexico with their authentic flavors. Tia Cuca and her sister Lupita, always present since day one, make you feel like part of their family. The ambiance, rich in tradition and adorned with photos of loved ones, only adds to the experience. A true gem for both food and hospitality. Highly recommended! 🍽 🔥

Took my parents for Sunday breakfast. 1st problem for me was the waitress. We asked her to give us a minute to decide. She walked away and came right back and asked if we were ready to order...we kindly said no we need time and she sighed and said ok call me when you're ready. Again she came right back and again asked if we were ready. She did this 5x!! By the 5th time she says what about now. I wanted to leave but my parents were hungry. We ordered our food. 2nd problem the food. Mom got the Chile relleno and it was bland and soggy the chile basically fell apart she didn't eat it the sauce had no flavor either. My dad and fiance got the burrito and they both got bad stomach trouble after we left. I had the chorizo con huevos it was super dry like it was reheated eggs and no flavor. The beans had no flavor other than a weird water taste. The queso fundido was actually good the best part was the salsa and chips and even then the salsa needed salt. When we asked for the check the waitress asked if we wanted boxes we said no thank you and she left. When she came back she said what you're not taking that food? We said no thank you and she said oh can I bring 2 boxes and we said no. While helping my elderly mother out of the booth she comes back and says to my mom you should take that Chile with you. You need a box I don't know why you're not taking it with you. At this point idk if she has memory issues or she's just super pushy.. either way we won't...

The server was very friendly and inviting, and the entire staff made sure all guests were comfortable. The food was a bit expensive, but not outrageously so, and very well-worth it. Dinner came with soup or salad, which is not typical for most Mexican restaurants I've been to, and we're no additional charge. Service was the fastest I've ever seen; my salad came within minutes and my order followed maybe five minutes later. Fantastic meal, well-made, and friendly service made Guadalajara Inn the BEST Mexican restaurant...
