Bell Manor Motel — Hotel in Bell

I recently stayed at Bell Manor Motel, and while the property itself has a lot of potential, my experience was ruined by the way it’s managed. The amenities were actually quite nice—clean rooms, comfortable beds, and good facilities—but unfortunately, that was overshadowed by the way I was treated.

Despite following all the rules and leaving the room in perfect condition, I was unfairly cheated out of my deposit. When I questioned it, the staff was rude and dismissive, refusing to provide a valid explanation. It became clear that this is a common practice here, and they have no issue taking advantage of guests.

It’s a shame because this place could be a great option if it weren’t for the dishonest and unprofessional management. If they were to change their approach and treat customers with respect, this could easily be a top-rated stay. Until then, I’d advise travelers to be very cautious when booking here—what you save in price might cost you...

This motel is just okay. The service was nice, but the rooms left much to be desired. We had a nightmare with the door—it was tough to close and lock, which was frustrating. There’s nowhere to hang anything, though the room was spacious and came with a fridge and microwave. We stayed a few nights for convenience, as I used to live in the area and wanted to visit friends. The location is fair, with plenty of stores, restaurants, and places within walking distance. However, the surroundings were noisy, and the parking lot is right off the busy Florence Avenue, making entry and exit challenging. Also, it’s not close to any of LA’s tourist spots. Outstanding place for the rate. Walking distance to busy intersection with all kinds of businesses. Shower is modern with nice outlets and accessories. Room is squeaky clean and meticulously furnished and arranged. WiFi is without any hassle and quickly connected. Cable TV comes with a crisp resolution and numerous channels. Quiet at night without any background undesirable noise. Cozy charming walk down to the room from the lobby. Personnel is friendly, caring and accommodating.
