The enchiladas were not what I expected! They were more like tacos in red sauce and the cheese was a queso fresco or dry one, not at all that melted cheese we all look forward to! The food doesn't have that culture effect or something! The only delicious experience I had was the chips and salsa. I ordered a cake but they brought it before my dinner! Wish they brought it after, because I couldn't finish dinner! Even Norm's suggested that I get my pie after dinner as desert and they weren't kidding! I was actually full and didn't have to order! I appreciate that honesty and respect for my part. Also, my Spanish is not great, so I tried, but I believe the girl spoke English because I heard her at one point. I started to commute in English but she continued in Spanish. I couldn't understand what she meant, I said in English again what I wanted, then she asked me in Spanish another way so I'd understand 🙄. I don't even know why we left her a freaking tip! I was pressured! Should've snatched it from my son! Leaving, people rudely stared at us leaving 😳. They should be staring at their plates and focus on their eating habits! I hate nosey rude people that have no manners and stare at others! I'm not ET 👽, I'm just a disabled person who has to use oxygen and a walker! People, be a good example to yourselves and family. Model kindness and politeness through good manners. Don't be staring at people like they're freaks! You...
Read moreOne of the worst places I've ever eaten at. My bill was $164 and tipped the waiter $25 and she still didn't want to give me a free horchata drink to go. (price was around $3.) can't believe they charge you for refills, the horchata drink isn't even THAT good, and cup sizes are not huge. The water tasted horrible and was definitely the worst tap water. The silverware had stains and the glass cups had a peculiar smell. I ordered the Breaded Shrimp and would have to rate it a solid 3.5/10. The salad is definitely not fresh and the white rice tastes like it's been refrigerated for a week. The waiter that served us showed little interest in cooperating with us. The portions are alright, depending on what you get. However the prices ofcourse are $12+. Honestly, should shut it down due to the bathroom being so filthy. Trying not to be graphic here, but there were menstrual stains all over the toilet seat in the women's restroom. Disgusting. Do not eat at this restraunt unless you want very poor service that no...
Read moreI got a bad feeling about the place first stepping in due to the fact that there were only 3 other people in the place. Complementary chips were stale plus was not served with authentic salsa. The horchata was more like milk marinated in cinnamon toast crunch. I ordered a wet chicken burrito, which by the way is $2 more to make it wet because its not on the menu. For a place to have a sign that says "Authentic fresh-made mexican food" and serve a wet burrito with green chili was a bit disgraceful. The plate was very simple with gummy rice and nearly dry refried beans. The biggest issue with this place that they overcharge for things that shouldn't. My friend ordered a $13 plate that didn't come with rice ($1.50), another basket of chips ($1.50), and seriously $2 for spoonful of green chili. The burrito wasn't bad but wasn't good either, I mean come on, for a $9 burrito throw on some cheese and sour cream. Nope, just chicken wrapped in a tortilla with green chili on top. Will not be...
