We ordered from Belleville: a pie (half Buffalo chicken and half vodka), eggplant rollatini, and fries with wings. When the order was delivered, we only had the wings and fries and rollatini, although I was charged for the full order. I tried to call the restaurant, but no one picked up. I called the driver, who was awesome, as he even tried to call, but no one picked up. I had to spend time on the phone for Seamless’ customer service to get the food that literally never came refunded. After the refund, Belleville Pizza called me to apologize for the service and say they were glad it got refunded; the person then said that the next pizza we ordered would be on the house, to just give my name and address as they were noting down what happened. Literally the next night, I called and Belleville Pizza refused to fulfill their offer: the people we spoke to were rude, refused to acknowledge what happened, took no accountability for it, and said they had no responsibility because it was refunded. I responded to this by saying that I did not call the pizzeria to ask for anything free; I called for a refund, and when I got no response, I called Seamless to have the mistake rectified; Belleville Pizza CALLED ME to offer this as an apology. I explained that we order from this place often, and their reaction to me trying to accept THEIR offer was ridiculous, and it makes me not want to be their customer. They responded “ok, that’s fine. Don’t be our customer.” What? Literally, I didn’t pursue them to blame them for an accident because I recognize that, whatever, accidents happen, sometimes food doesn’t get delivered. I so appreciated the extra step in customer service they took to right the mistake, but to be made to feel stupid and ridiculous for trying to order from them again after their mistake (and we were not just getting a free pizza; we were ordering other food), why would I ever order from this place again? I won’t. Such a ridiculous response. ANY other pizzeria is...
Read moreUpdate: So we've ordered from here a few times now. And I just had to make an addendum stating just how awesome these guys are. There was a delay with Seamless sending through our order, but we were around the corner and had planned to sit and wait anyway. The guy heading the counter popped our order right in the oven (Seamless came through maybe 5 minutes or more after we'd already sat down to wait) and we were out of there ahead of schedule. He was so incredibly nice. Every time we've dealt with anyone from there, they're always so kind. Even the delivery guy. He came directly up to our apartment (we live in a big complex and every delivery we've ever had from pretty much anywhere just waits at the security desk). Still our favorite place 😁
Original review: Was a little doubtful when I asked my bf to order pizza and this was where I arrived to pick it up. But I have to say, it's my new favorite place. Got a simple sausage and mushroom pie with an order of garlic knots. The crust was perfectly crispy, nice and thin without being soggy, and it was the best pie I've had in Jersey since I moved here when I was 13. I'm a Long Island girl, and my bf is from Coney Island. We're a bit picky and yeah, probably can call us food snobs haha The garlic knots were nice and doughy in that way that let's you pull them apart and dip them, and they were smothered in garlic. Yum! I even ate the pizza crust. I never eat pizza crust. Their dough recipe is spot on. Easy to say this is our new...
Read moreMy family and I have been loyal customers to Belleville pizza for several years. Their food and pizza is very good. HOWEVER, this establishment has lost all of our business after their deceptive marketing practices. We went online to check their menu and prices and then called in an order that we went to pick up. The discrepancy between their online prices and in-store prices was substantial. I called the next day and voiced my displeasure to the manager who spent the entire call arguing with me and speaking over me. He claims that they have no control over the online prices because it "isn't them" because it's the "computer guys." I said it was their establishment, their name and their products so it was their problem and under their control. Instead of doing anything to rectify the matter to long-time customers, he kept arguing with me, wouldn't allow me to finish my sentences, and dismissed me because he had other customers. So their food is good but their prices are dishonest and the manner in which I was treated by the manager has made this place lose our entire family as customers. I would leave them zero stars...
